Napier Heritage By Velvet Hotels

The Dutch room was significantly worse than advertised. There were broken decorations, stained furniture, and it was not somewhere I would like to spend time.

L’hôtel est vieillissant, sans charme. On ne peut pas ouvrir ni les volets ni les fenêtres donc pas de lumière du jour.

Very very bad Stay & facilities. the rooms are far from what is shown in the booking website. booking.com should remove this hotel. sadly it has a good location but trust me, the rooms are BADDDDDDDDD. we were supposed to stay 3 nights but checked out after the 1st night. horrible.! EVERY PERSON WE SPOKE TO SAID WE MADE A BAD DECISION BY CHOOSING THIS HOTEL. WASTED OUR MONEY.

Rezervējām divus nr. Viens numuriņš bija piesmēķēts. Nesmēķētājam, tas rada diskomfortu.
Otrais numuriņš atradās blakus ēkā. Rezervēju trīs personām. Pirmais nr, ko ierādīja bija tik maz, ka nesapratu, kur tur būtu iespēja izvietot papildus gultu. Palūdzu samainīt. Samainīja uz lielāku. Pati pirms tam uzkopu grīdu, jo tā bija acīmredzami netīra. Arī mēbeles bija netīras un par salauztas. Vienīgais logs, ko varēja atvērt bija uz gaiteni pa kuru staigā cilvēki.
Pēc bildēm nevar pateikt, ka peldbaseins atrodas tur pat auto stāvlaukumā. Prasītos nomainīt pie baseina zviļņus, tie jau savu laiku ir nokalpojuši uz izskatās bēdīgi, Ieteiktu arī biežāk tīrīt baseinu.

This property and hotel does not match the 4 stars it has and the advertised stay. Prior to details, overall the entire property is run down, clear signs of negligence, understaffed and competency of staff. Our first room assigned to us, had an absolute sting smell to it, sticky floors, bedside table missing, room fridge not operating, mosquitoes in the room. Out first impression of walking into the room was straight away - how can this be a four star facility. We contacted the manager next day of our dissatisfaction and requested to change our rooms. Only to be given a room with a smaller bed, same bathroom smell, bathroom tiles grouts have mould on them, shower towel rails broken. The breakfast provision was not up to par as one should expect from booking a 4 star hotel. We went out for all our breakfast following the first morning experience. If this was a 2 star hotel - no problem, the fact that this is rated 4 star and the price related to it doesn't justify.

Initial bedroom was tiny as they were full, but moved to a larger one which was ok
No lounge facilities.

Se você gosta de varanda, atente-se a opção contrada. Meu quarto não tinha, mas não foi um problema.

Old and not inviting

The room was dark and not able to open the shutters, therefore no view.
The safe did not work and were told the technical team were not available to fix it, it just needed new batteries, but have seen on a another review that their safe did not work.
The.staff had little customer service skills.
The bathroom had mould and bathroom mirror was not clean

The air conditioning was very loud and not very effective. Water was off in our room for most of the day but was working in our friends room elsewhere in the hotel

Le bruit … nous entendions les gens marcher dans la chambre au dessus tard le soir et tôt le matin. Les travaux juste en face marteaux piqueurs et camion à 6:30 le matin. Chambre sombre . Peu d’accessoires (savon, allumettes, bloc notes, stylos manquants)
