Disappointing hotel stay

Emplacement très bien. Chambres ok. Piscine assez grande pour nager

Cons:

Propreté vraiment limite. Pas de manager présent dans l'établissement. Personnel constamment scotché aux smartphones. Salle de restaurant petite, sombre, nappes sales, petit déjeuner pas terrible. Aucune intimité à la piscine : la réception donne sur la piscine avec 3 à 4 hommes à l'intérieur. 2 transats vieillissants (pour au moins une quinzaine de chambres...). Espace communs mal entretenus.

Der Pool war erholsam und die Veranda vor dem Zimmer mit den Möbeln war bequem. Das alte Gebäude aus der Kolonialzeit hatte seinen Charme.

Cons:

Der Service, das Management, die Austattung des Zimmers und das Frühstück waren katastrophal und den 4 Sternen bzw. dem Preis (fast 90,-€) in keiner Weise angemessen. Im Zimmer funktionierte das Telefon nicht, der Fernseher war nicht angeschlossen, der Safe war versperrt, alle Steckdosen waren so ausgeleiert, dass es kaum möglich war, das Smartphone aufzuladen, und bis 17 Uhr gab es keinen Zimmerservice,, erst nach Aufforderung. Das Badezimmer konnte konnte man der Dusche als Dampfbad benutzen. Das Frühstück war sehr lieblos. Die ganze Anlage wirkte sehr vernachlässigt und das Personal lustlos.

Das Angenehme umd Schöne in Indien ist nicht immer deckungsgleich mit dem europäischen Wohlempfinden (siehe Hygiene, Sauberkeit etc ;-)
Aber das gehört eben dazu•••

Friendly staff and great location for exploring Fort Kochi

Terrible hotel run by lazy staff who don’t care, dirty & tired. Please go somewhere else.

Cons:

So many things!! On arrival staff basically ignored us for 30 mins before bringing us a ‘welcome’ drink! The rooms are dark as no glass windows so open at your peril of being joined by mosquitoes. The floor of the room was dirty & the bathroom just an unpleasant place to go. So tired, age old towels & a light that couldn’t be turned off the entire stay, no vent so boiling hot.
Not once were we asked if wanted any clean towels, any change of sheets, fresh water etc. They basically give you a key & let you get on with it. No customer service whatsoever.
Do not be tempted by the pics if the pool. The reality is it sits adjacent to a broken & dusty car park area with broken wooden ‘beds’ with no cushions & no umbrellas. A horrible place to sit if that’s what you wanted.
This was more like a hostel than a hotel. We stayed in India for a month & this definitely the worst. This appeared to be ‘managed’ (joke) by 2/3 men who basically aren’t interested in you or the premises whatsoever. How this gets such high reviews is beyond me.

If you want location based stay. It’s a great place.
Pros:

The location is excellent. Can walk to the beach and also walk thru old colonial buildings

Cons:

The rooms were small. Elevator can barely fit three people. Room had no window. Extra bad given to us for as hard as rock. The fridge did not work.

Goid place to stay
Pros:

Hari was very friendly, asked us if we were happy and was smiling and friendly , great to deal with. The room was right on the pool which was sparkling clean and the best thing to have after sight feeling and shopping , the garden could be kept greener and some flowers .be nice around pool. The room was good, clean great aircon, fan, I noticed a bot if noise behind the building by staff but went quiet at night. The price is on higher side but the area is great, the street pretty and quiet and great position to either walk or get a tuk tuk

Cons:

The dining room bit inviting, woukd be better to open up onto balcony and more people woukd eat there and not have bain marie. The little shop near office a waste should do tea/coffe/juice and lots of people woukd use it as near pool, good ngoid place money maker
