Great location and clean rooms in the heart of Fort Kochi
Pros:

The location is fantastic. It's quiet and right in the centre of Fort Kochi, with the sea front and main walking areas in walking distance. The room was very small but very clean.

Cons:

For Western travellers the bathroom might be uncomfortable because there is no separate shower section, so everything gets wet when you wash (typical for Indian bathrooms). No toilet paper was provided at first (I had to ask for it), and it was only possible to pay for the room in cash, not by card.

Welcoming and sparkling clean, a pleasant place to stay.
Pros:

Roses Inn felt welcoming the moment we walked in the door. Everything felt clean, hot water was hot, and of course, air con was lovely. Nice and quiet at night.
The location meant we were a short walk to everywhere, but not in the busiest streets. Simply cross the road for yummy breakfasts!

Pros:

The only good thing about the property is the location.

Cons:

The amenities for a hotel are really poor here. This was my second time staying here, and I was surprised how unkempt the place was- the sheets, pillow covers and towels all had stains on them. Basic facilities like water was something that we had to refill by ourselves like a hostel. For the price that you’re paying it’s not worth it anymore since you’re essentially just getting a bed to sleep on in a private room

Pros:

Excellent location, clean quiet, good for solo travel. Room might be a bit small for two. Rooms are only cleaned if you ask.

Cons:

No restaurant as advertised. It wasn't a problem as there were excellent places nearby but they shouldn't advertise a restaurant if there isn't one functioning.

Perfect location in FortKochi
Pros:

The hotel is very close to all the main attractions, there are lots of places to eat close by. The staff in reception was kind and helpful. We really appreciated the fridge in the room.

Cons:

Our room was rather small and there wasn't a closet to hang clothes in. There is no restaurant in the hotel and no breakfast facility, even if they have a beautiful roof terrace and a big, nice kitchen. You can't pay by credit card and the price was quite high for the service offered, maybe because it was New Year's Eve.

Good 1. All major sightseeing spots are nearby. 2. They arrange cabs for sightseeing. 3. Prime location in Fort Kochi
Pros:

Checking process was very smooth and staff are very helpful. The place is just a 100-meter walk from the Chinese fishing nets, with plenty of cafés nearby. You’ll also find many restaurants around Fort Kochi. It’s a great area to roam around in the evening, from about 6:00 PM until 11:30 PM.

Cons:

The room is very small, and all the furniture is quite old. It is suitable only for a short stay. I asked for a cup of tea at 7:00 AM, but was told that the cafeteria exists but is not operational.
