Peaceful street in the heart of Fort Kochi
Pros:

The location is great. It is a peaceful street but in the heart of Fort Kochi. Both room and bathroom were clean and big enough. There is a big lounge space where you can rest. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to leave the luggage for a few hours after our check out.

Cons:

The AC was a bit slow at the beginning but then worked perfectly fine. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable.

Lovely stay - hosts were very welcoming and helpful, good location and good value!
Pros:

The property was in a really good location, a stones throw from the Chinese fishing nets.
Everyone at the accommodation was so hospitable - helped with bags, recommended restaurants, suggested places to visit and tips for the rest of our trip.
The air con worked well, and the room had everything we needed for a two night stay including a mini fridge - which was rare to find as we found out with our later accommodations around Kerala.

Cons:

We feel like we paid for what we got. The towels and bedding could do with a refresh as there were lose threads and faint marks on them, but nothing that stopped us from using them!
One of the plug sockets in our room was quite high up on a wall with no table underneath it. Not a major problem but we needed a longer wire for our phones to charge on the floor overnight, and there were two other sockets we could use anyway.

Misdescription
Pros:

Clean but very basic and small room in good location

Cons:

It does not match the description - no breakfast no restaurant and doesnt accept card payment. The toiletries consist of a tiny piece of soap. The staff were unhelpful. When I complained I was told it was Booking.com’s fault.

Fort Kochi ville sympa avec de belles demeures mais les plages sont vraiment des dépotoirs
Pros:

bon emplacement chambre correcte simple
belle terrasse pour prendre l'air
juste à coté des ferrys et du water metro très pratique pour aller à Ernakulam sans prendre de taxis ou rickshaw

Cons:

wi fi pas très efficiente
contrairement à ce qu'indique booking ,l'établissement ne prends pas la carte visa
contrairement à ce qu'indique booking, l'établissement ne fait pas de petit déjeuner ,ni de repas et ne sert pas de boissons malgré un roof top terrasse très sympa.

Great location and clean rooms in the heart of Fort Kochi
Pros:

The location is fantastic. It's quiet and right in the centre of Fort Kochi, with the sea front and main walking areas in walking distance. The room was very small but very clean.

Cons:

For Western travellers the bathroom might be uncomfortable because there is no separate shower section, so everything gets wet when you wash (typical for Indian bathrooms). No toilet paper was provided at first (I had to ask for it), and it was only possible to pay for the room in cash, not by card.

Welcoming and sparkling clean, a pleasant place to stay.
Pros:

Roses Inn felt welcoming the moment we walked in the door. Everything felt clean, hot water was hot, and of course, air con was lovely. Nice and quiet at night.
The location meant we were a short walk to everywhere, but not in the busiest streets. Simply cross the road for yummy breakfasts!

Pros:

The only good thing about the property is the location.

Cons:

The amenities for a hotel are really poor here. This was my second time staying here, and I was surprised how unkempt the place was- the sheets, pillow covers and towels all had stains on them. Basic facilities like water was something that we had to refill by ourselves like a hostel. For the price that you’re paying it’s not worth it anymore since you’re essentially just getting a bed to sleep on in a private room

Pros:

Excellent location, clean quiet, good for solo travel. Room might be a bit small for two. Rooms are only cleaned if you ask.

Cons:

No restaurant as advertised. It wasn't a problem as there were excellent places nearby but they shouldn't advertise a restaurant if there isn't one functioning.
