Brilliant hosts, location, whale watching, views, hiking and chilling.
Pros:

Brilliant hosts who communicated well prior to our arrival. Fantastic location and views along with whale and dolphin watching. Stephanie cooked us a lovely meal one evening while we chatted with her over wine and Rene cooked up a fab breakfast and was equally as kind and caring. We did a 5 hour hike through the jungle and along the coast, never saw another human for the full duration! Great value and we highly recommend for a chilled stay.

Cons:

I wanted to go to Parque Nacional Alerce Costero to see el gran Abuelo, however as of 1/2026 you can only access from La Union on a 4x4 or AWD. So we stayed here two nights and then traveled to Osorno, rented a car (Makenna or something like that, great experience). Keep in mind that the tree can only be visited Thursday to Sunday

Pros:

Eine sehr außergewöhnliche Lage direkt am Pazifik. Der Iglu steht für Glamping - einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
Die Vermieterin Stefanie ist sehr kommunikativ und hilfsbereit. Abendessen ist möglich und sehr lecker.
Ihr Vater bereit gutes Frühstück und ist ebenfalls sehr kommunikativ!

Fue una excelente estadía. El lugar hermoso, hay mucho para recorrer.

The location is spectacular. Ocean view, private, quiet. Lots of nature. Comfortable clean, modern accommodations. Incredible meals cooked with local ingredients. English speaking hosts that are so welcoming. They organized boat and hiking tours and a massage for us. The whole experience was amazing. Highly recommend.

Panoramic ocean views
Pros:

Clifftop setting with views of the ocean, surrounded by forest. Fascinating area to visit. The dome is out of the ordinary, with a terrace and good bathroom, well maintained. Only the sound of the ocean at night. Breakfast brought to the room in the morning. Friendly and helpful hosts. There is a separate building with a kitchen and dining table for those who bring their own food.

Cons:

On damp mornings we could not eat breakfast on the terrace where there is a table and chairs for two. Instead we had it indoors at a bar by the window, but there was only one stool. Breakfast was just adequate. Dinner served in the host's home was quite good but expensive.
