Very helpful staff especially the lady in the morning who organised our overnight bus sleeper transfer to HCM, and was able to book us a Dalat day tour, both are great rates and cheaper than we were able to find ourselves online. The staff also helped with restaurant suggestions, and showing us where we can get money converted. The hotel style is beautiful, very unique style, especially loved the plants at reception. The room is very comfortable and the balcony was a, great place for us to enjoy a morning coffee. We were very grateful to the staff for allowing us to store our bags at the hotel after we had checked out. There was no air conditioning other than ceiling fan , however this was not a problem, the climate is much cooler and Dalat.
We stayed here for 2 nights in mid-January 2023. This hotel is really well designed and nicely appointed… BUT…the extreme level of noise in the middle of the night and early morning ruined it all. From constantly barking street dogs, crowing roosters (seriously!) to loud music coming from the neighboring Karaoke bar / BBQ, honking horns, people yelling on the streets; you can hear it ALL!! it’s super stressful when you are ON HOLIDAY trying to relax, and cannot get a proper night’s sleep
Due to massive amounts of noise. Further, and this makes matters worse, it’s quite obvious that the owners went VERY cheap on the windows, as they are all single pane glass windows that keep out virtually no sound, I checked.
At night, I even used my good foam ear plugs, and that wasn’t enough, and I kept getting woken up. Also, most of the staff don’t have passable English skills, making it hard to ask questions, and they seem like deer in the headlights when you speak to them.
