Amazing stay in Boyne House
Pros:

We were given a room in the adjacent building Boyne House which was like a honeymoon suite, so big and had an amazing bathroom with a large shower and bath. I asked for a room with a bath but didn’t expect a room as nice as the one we were given, it was so quiet & the surroundings were lovely. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war lecker und das Bier sowieso. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und sehr ruhig. Der Garten ist idyllisch und lädt zum Verweilen ein.

Lovely food
Pros:

Stayed overnight, mattress very comfortable and breakfast excellent. Older hotel so dark and could do with a lick paint. The stairway from the ground floor to the first floor has narrow treads/steps They have more accessible rooms too across the road which are lovely. No noise at all during night even though it's on a busy main road. Competitively priced for what it is. Reception staff lovely and very helpful.

The staff was very nice and the bed was comfortable

There was no cold water in the bath tap and no hot water in the shower.
The food portions were very small for adults and pricy.

Great kitchen / restaurant
Pros:

Wonderful breakfast included. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant on the night of arrival.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we were in the other accommodation site. We had been looking forward to staying in the period rooms in the main hotel. A large contrast between the photos of those rooms and our eventual bedroom.

Beautiful stay
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom. Fab breakfast. Free parking available. Coffee van opposite side of the road the following morning too to help our further travels.

Lovely hotel in a good central location that had friendly employees, and a good breakfast selection.

Cons:

Unfortunately the hot water was not working and they were unable to resolve this during our stay.

Pros:

Petit déj ok, au choix un plat et un buffet à volonté. On a été dans Old post office à notre arrivée. Joli chambre et salle de bains, recemment rénové je pense. Malheureusement lit pas très confortable, insonorisation laissant a desirer avec les autres hôtes et avec la rue (malgré double vitres, on sent que des efforts sont faits).

Wedding Anniversary
Pros:

We booked this hotel as we were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary we got married here easter Sunday 2021. Our room was lovely and comfortable. We had dinner as part of our booking and arrived down for our 7pm reservation. We got both our starters and main courses which were very tasty and well presented. However we sat with empty plates in front of us for over 40 minutes without anyone coming over to us. In the meantime a group of 4 had been shown to a table behind us and were left without menus for at least 10 minutes before 1 of the party got up and got the menus themselves. We eventually got up and left even though we had dessert included in our 3 course deal. As I said the food was tasty and well presented but the service was deplorable. We complained at reception when leaving this morning and were given "the staff were very busy because of a function " excuse even though the people from the function were coming out to the bar to get their drinks themselves.

Lovely hotel in beautiful Slane
Pros:

Nice little hotel in Slane
Room were clean
Staff very pleasant

Cons:

Could be a nicer area for evening time to sit and have a refreshments, there is a restaurant and bar and also a relaxing room, would suggest having a bar in relaxing / drawing room
