Nice food lovely staff
Room was too bright even with lights off needs thicker curtains
Quiet and great food
Too much light in room i like it pitch black
Interesting historical building.
Good food
and wheat beer.
The factory next door makes pressed metal components. There were loud bangs and our room shook every minute from 7:45 am.
Convenient location for my work related visit. Good value.
Bulb in bedroom not working. Toothbrush holder and soap dish falling off the wall. Needs some maintenance. Very noisy heating system.
Great food and a comfy room. Nice bathroom
Would prefer an en-suute bathroom
Lovely clean room. Bathroom just outside the door. Lovely staff. I enjoyed a really nice salad and the young lady kindly gave me a takeaway box because I couldn't eat it all at once it was nice to be able to make a cup of tea in the room.
Slightly difficult negotiating the corridors because of the very dark decor, and the PIR's didn't always come on straight away. Not enough to stop me coming again if I needed to though. 😊
Property was cozy, nicely refurbished and comfortable.
Heating wasn’t able to be adjusted and was a bit too warm throughout the night. Heating was especially loud at odd hours through the night, enough to be woken up with a start at 3 am and 5am by a load jarring noise which we determined to be pipes. The water temperature in the shower was really difficult to adjust and the temp was inconsistent, on top of that there was no hot water for the shower in the evening and on the other extreme the water was scalding in the morning (same temp setting). The external door is very difficult to open and we had to give up and use the other entrance after informing a staff member of the door sticking.
The room I was in has no tv signal. Could hear people through the night and constant running water all night, stayed here for one night for work purposes got woke up by noise outside the room at 4.45am left soon after that because couldn’t get back to sleep
Quirky character pub with accommodation. Good quality food. Friendly and informative staff. It’s not in the most attractive area but disregard that for its legendary status.
The room was well maintained.
Nothing of note. No breakfast available but we were directed to an excellent cafe nearby.
The friendly welcome and service received from all the staff made us feel at home right away. We ate lunch at the pub, and the food was amazing, excellent quality ingredients at a very reasonable price. Take on the Desperate Dan challenge!
Honestly hard to find any faults.
It’s on a busy main road so it doesn’t quieten down until late. Room was fine and staff helpful and friendly. Food good value for money.
Close to Black Country Museum
Very small Awkward Bathroom. No room for Manouver. !!
