Please note that the village is car-free and the property can only be reached by mountain railway (7 minute journey). You can either take the cable car from Morschach or the funicular from Schwyz/Schlattli (tickets are not included in the room rate). The Hotel is located 3281 ft walking distance from the both mountain station.

Parking spaces are available at the cable car station in Morschach at additional costs .

We walked up to the lodge during a snowstorm. now we have a story to tell at home.
Pros:

Clean, organized. Location is on top of the hill and better to wear ski gears on and use the cable rope to go up there.

The perfect family ski vacation!
Pros:

Amazing place, on the ski slope just up the hill from town. The views are fantastic (especially at sunset), the rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Stoos is the perfect place for a family ski vacation, and the Stoos Hüttä is a great home base. Do keep in mind that it is very helpful if everyone in your party can ski, as the easiest way up is to ride the T-bar. However, there is a taxi that can take you and your luggage from the funicular for about 30 CHF.

Cons:

It's a bit expensive, but you are paying for the unbeatable location.

It was the Swiss mountain experience I had been craving. Gorgeous!
Pros:

The location was absolutley stunning, and Stoos Hutta was surprisingly easy to get to (as long as you don't mind walking up a rather steep hill from the funicular station... but it's only a 5 minute walk). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. The rooms were cosy, clean and with stunning views. The wifi worked fine.

We stayed one night and then did the 2 hour walk up to Fronalpstock. I did get very scared of the cows at one point when we were crossing a field, but the cattle herder assured us that they were just curious and wouldn't hurt us!

Absolutely lovely!
Pros:

Great hotel and restaurant with great views. Restaurant was very good and room as well. Spacious, clean, and great bathroom.

Bed was a little uncomfortable but its fine.

Das Hotel und Restaurant käme wieder in Frage für uns.
Pros:

Die Ausssicht war phantastisch, mit den grossen Fenster ein toller Blick auf Stoos und den Sonnenaufgang. Das Essen war sehr gut.
Der Service war sehr gut, hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Cons:

Der Bettanzug fühlte sich nicht gut an und man schwitzte stark darunter. Es hat keinen TV im Zimmer, dafür grosse Fenster mit einer tollen Aussicht.
