To reach the hotel, from Cologne Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) exit the station via passage A, towards Breslauer Platz. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the square, beside the roundabout.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Modern, comfortable, friendly. 12 minutes walking distance from Marienplatz. Just five minutes for the main train station. Breakfast very good.

Cons:

L’ascenseur est vétuste et prévu pour une seule personne, le mobilier est ancien et parfois abîmé (tête de lit, prises murales…) un lit s’affaissait au niveau des pieds. La petite salle de bains dans laquelle se trouve le wc, ferme grâce à une porte vitrée opaque ce qui laisse peu d’intimité.
Nous avons fui le petit déjeuner après avoir découvert du pain moisi sur le buffet.

1 minute walk from the Köln central station.

The level of soundproofing is NONE.
Breakfast is mediocre
The rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, but the next room smoked in the middle of the night and we felt the smell.

Gutes, sauberes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt
Pros:

Sauberes Zimmer für eine Person; Fenster sehr schalldicht, deshalb sehr leises Zimmer bei Verkehr; seitlicher Blick auf den Bahnhof und im Hintergrund der Dom; Ausstattung gut und ohne Mängel, auch wenn Nutzungsspuren im Bad erkennbar waren

Cons:

Frühstück leider nur bis 10 Uhr, deshalb spätes Aufstehen vor dem Checkout um 11 Uhr nicht möglich ohne das Frühstück zu verpassen.
