Pros:

Easy walk to station, museums, cathedral, points of interest. Breakfast was average. Could use computers in lounge area. View of cathedral from bedroom.

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Bahnhof, also auch nicht weit vom Dom und dem Rhein.
Einfaches, aber gutes Frühstück.

The hotel is well located just at the main station. Quite basic rooms, but enough for 1-2 nights. Breakfast also relatively simple but enough.

Cons:

Note that the windows (at least in my room) are facing the main station, so it can be a bit loud during the night.

Excelente ubicación
Pros:

La habitación que nos tocó en el 3 piso tenía una vista bonita hacia la catedral. Estaba todo muy limpio y la habitación era amplia para 3 personas. La ubicación es perfecta a 1 minuto de la estación de trenes y de la catedral

Cons:

El ascensor es demasiado pequeño, solo para una persona. Si llevas un equipaje grande vas a tener problemas para subir

Ausgezeichnete Lage vis-a-vis Hauptbahnhof Köln!
Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück (Buffet) ganz o.k.!

Cons:

Zimmer, insbesodere Bad und Toilette hat einen veralteten Standard und wirkt abgewohnt, ist aber wenigstens sauber!Der antiquierte Lift kann nur von einer Person benützt werden!

Posizione eccellente, buon confort, ma con qualche compromesso.
Pros:

Il punto di forza di questa struttura è sicuramente la posizione, praticamente di fronte alla stazione e alla principali attrazioni di Colonia. Nonostante sia immerso nel traffico delle auto, tram e al traffico ferroviario dei treni che attraversano il ponte ferrato, la stanza era particolarmente silenziosa.

Cons:

Pulizia non eccellente, camera abbastanza piccola, bagno piccolo, doccia piccolissima con soffione allentato nel fissaggio che faceva fuoriuscire parecchia acqua nel bagno. Colazione 'minimale', con una buona varietà di salumi, qualche formaggio, caraffa di caffè, panini, toast, qualche yogurt e uova sode, mancava la macchina per il cappuccino, bacon, uova strapazzate ecc. che secondo me dovevano essere compresi considerando il prezzo della colazione.

Ideal Cheap Hotel for a 1 night stop in the centre of Köln
Pros:

Brilliant Location, a 2 minute walk from the back entrance of Köln Hbf. Checking in was super easy and the staff where super friendly.

For a city centre hotel right next to the main train station, the price of the room was incredibly good value.

The room was clean and had a modern flatscreen tv fitted, albeit a lot of the other room fittings felt a little dated.

Cons:

The room was warm, even in overnight temperatures of 15-20 degrees c. Unfortunately, with the lack of air con and as the hotel is so close to the train station, it was too noisy to open the windows.

The walls of the hotel where very thin, you could very easily hear people in the corridors and the other rooms.
