A short stay at Eden boutique hotel
Pros:

The location and the friendly and helpful staffs manning the reception desk make our stay comfortable even though facilities are basic and simple.

Cons:

For the price we paid, it is not much in particular that I can complain about other than a bigger room will make the stay even more memorable

One of the better stays in Tawau
Pros:

My usual stay in Tawau. Simple hotel. Basic needs all met. Staff at the counter always polite and helpful. I guess I am a regular client, so it is easy for them. They know my work schedule and make check in and check out easy.

Paint in the room was tearing up, have spiderwebs at the corner of the table, entrance door was quite small, and hard to drop off luggage because no place to stop at the entrance.

Cons:

The room had a slight unpleasant smell & there were some signs of leakage on the ceiling. After waking up in the morning, I noticed some discomfort in my throat and started coughing. I am still experiencing the cough at the moment.
