Stopping at Tebay is my one treat on a long journey to visit family.
Pros:

Breakfast in my room was a treat. I will always use Tebay as my stopping rest on my to see family down South. It’s too long for me to drive in one day so Tebay offers me the rest I need.

Cons:

All. Great

Comfortable, clean and excellent location
Pros:

It was very convenient for travelling north, very clean and modern. Surprisingly quiet room considering how near the motorway the hotel is.

Overpriced for what you get, dull and should be no more than 3 stars.
Pros:

Free parking, a warm clean room and very comfy beds.

Cons:

I didn't like that it was alongside an M6 Service station and that it was poorly sign posted (you need to come off at the service station and search for signage). The road leads along a no entry lane (but mentions its the direction to the hotel) and crosses back over the M6, eventually leading to a road for the hotel. Originally I thought it was based on a working farm, but this is not the case. As mentioned, it's an over priced stop over hotel next to a service station.

Dinner wise, it was a very limited menu and was very expensive considering the hotel was nothing more than a sleepover point along the M6. Breakfast was good, but again very expensive (and I waited ages after ordering it)!! Also the sandwiches served via the bar, though tasty, were also outrageously priced! The coffee served was luke warm and the hotel seemed to be short staffed.
