Very comfortable and relaxing mid-week
Pros:

It was lovely and quiet at the time of our mid-week visit and the service was good. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a great view, as requested. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant. Ilkley is a beautiful town for a holiday base. We lived there in the 1970s and it was a joy to revisit.

Cons:

When we visited in August 2026 the decrepit cheap breakfast tables were in dire need of replacement! The surfaces were permanently sticky from degraded vanish. Tableclothes would have helped as an interim measure! On our first morning the buffet was rather depleted but it was OK on the second morning.

Nice place, not great facilities, key card locks not working at all and detracted from the gay a lot,
Pros:

Good location, nice building.

Cons:

Outdated rooms and facilities. Key cards don’t work, I needed a new car any time I left the room and tried to get back in. Staff helped, but this was a waste of time and effort for everyone.
