Lovely setting
Pros:

Friendly welcome. The room was pleasant with a lovely view in the distance. The bed was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was plentiful.

Cons:

The temperature of the shower kept fluctuating, which meant that I had to keep moving in and out of the flow, which resulted in me washing the floor!!

Waste of money. Got 2 hours sleep.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

It was very very noisy all night until 5am. We were there the night before my sister’s wedding due to location. There was a function on and the outside terrace was under our room window. Music and shouting until 4:30am. Same outside of our bedroom door and corridors.

Enjoyable and nice location right on the edge of the moor.
Pros:

Happy to pay the extra cost to have a dog with us, but was surprised - and pleased - to see a dog bed and water bowl in the room.

Cons:

The scones ( part of the tea and scones option on bar menu). The scone (singular) was too small. If you still want to use the same size, please provide 2 scones per order - or a single, larger scone.

Staff where lovely , but due to the room we would not stay again
Pros:

The size of the room was nice

Cons:

The room was really stuffy. The windows only open slightly and this made the room like a geeenhouse. I am asthmatic and really struggled breathing. The fan that was left on the room , was a waste of time. All that did was waft hot air round the room. Not enough plugs. Although I did find one , hidden behind the , Curtains this morning. Bit late by then !!!
