Beautiful palace
I got food poisoning from the restaurant the same night I saw a mouse in the dining hall and the staff didn't do anything. The staff was also too busy browsing Tiktok instead of solving the following issues:
- No WiFi in the room
- The room was too dark during the day, but the transparent curtains made them too light during the night
- The room's bathroom smells like sewage water
- Cushions on the pool chairs were soaked in dirty water
- Staff refused to help me book a train ticket

La chambre spacieuse
Le petit déjeuner est peu varié et ne semble pas très frais . Aussi nous avions réservé ET payé par BOOKING avant notre arrivée et ils nous ont fait PAYER à nouveau les chambres au moment du départ. Depuis ils ont reconnu qu’il y a eu double facturation mais tardent à rembourser…. Était ce une erreur?

In room telephone wasn't working which was very inconvenient.
My room was not ready when I checked in at 6.30 in the evening.
Room TV remote wasn't working.
Room fridge was not working as well.
Toilet was not up to the standards. When you pay for the deluxe room, you expect good amenities.
The biggest let down was when I ordered food from the outside and the manager told me that it's not allowed. If such is the case, you should mention it beforehand. Indirectly you are forcing guests to have meal at your place. I have stayed in so many hotels around the world but this was the first time I have been told such thing.
Another thing was the infrastructure, I have stayed in heritage hotels in Jaipur like Nirbana palace and Kurki heritage which are all heritage places but they have maintained their infrastructure pretty well. You will see the modern outlook along with the heritage vibes. For an example, no room key card was given, still operating with locks. Prices for heritage hotels are more or less same. This hotel should definitely consider this.
The location, ambience and food was really good. The room was spacious and clean and matched the photos and description. The staff were really helpful and kind.
Although we booked the stay because of the pool but it is just next to the entrance gate so not very comfortable.

A lovely building, step back in time, with great service.
The pool photos give the impression the pool was bigger than it was and a bit more secluded but it was small and we would have felt self conscious, we booked here for the pool however appreciated the service and the stay still. Very good.
