Nice stay
Pros:

We had a lovely stay. The location is excellent, very central, with safe parking provided. The check-in was smooth and friendly. Our room was clean, met all expectations and the beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was nice. We also ordered some meals in the bar area, which were tasty.

Cons:

The entertainment package wasn't up to the standard expected from a nice hotel. Only a handful of TV channels, with only 1 for movies (the others for sports, news and documentary). Although breakfast was a nice buffet, some finished items were not replenished, despite us being there in the middle of service. On the day of our race, whilst some other hotels offer a fairly complete breakfast for athletes early in the morning, this hotel only provided muffins and bananas (which were appreciated nonetheless). We still had a great stay at this hotel despite these small issues.

Pros:

Location to the race start was amazing and the shuttle service was great. Love the rooms and the feel of the hotel and the bar area was a treat.

Cons:

The race day breakfast was poor and dinner was worse , well let's just say the restaurant was empty and it was difficult to get someone to assist us with a food order. We left and had dinner at the waterfront.
This needs to be improved as its beautiful setting.

Cant think of anything sorry.

Cons:

When I got to the hotel I was told my room wasn't ready. Someone was working on the airconditioner. They couldn't get hold of me. I was told to wait in the restaurant and I accepted as it was past dinner time and I had to eat. There were almost no one in the restaurant.
When I walked in the waiter asked if I had a reservation. Obviously I didn't. I was then told to wait in the pub, as I didnt have a reservation. Sitting in a pub was unacceptable to me.
I went to the waterfront and had take aways. They called me 19H30 to tell me my room will be ready by 20:30.
When I got there ar 20:30 I was given the keys to room 15. There was no evidence in room 15 that someone worked on the aircon.

We loved staying at the Log-Inn and we will definitely be back!
Pros:

Perfect central location, within walking distance to Oyster Festival tent, Waterfront and Thesen Island. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Our water was not hot enough.
