Room was nice.
Food in the restaurant was not nice. And view from the room was not great. Staff were friendly and nice.
Friendly helpful staff and excellent food! Beautiful location and great for walks.
Personnel parfait
Localisation parfaite pour les randonnées alentours
The location was probably the only good thing as the scenery was nice.
The breakfast was very basic. And the room was very basic not really that clean and when we were given new towels they were dirty. Along with the spider webs around the room and the bin in bathroom was not empty when we arrived and during it wasn’t completely changed. Pillows were very basic no real comfort from them apart from the bed itself was good. Also the used mugs we had were not either cleaned properly or changed.
Also a very important point - the outside lighting was never on for the late evenings/ night time coming to and from the car to the hotel entrance the lamps were never on which caused a few hazards along with a few loose pavement slabs.
The hotel is situated in the middle of the Glendalough mountains, so you don't have to do more than walk outside to explore the incredible natural surroundings. The hotel is obviously old but has been well maintained, it was the least expensive stay while we were in Dublin and I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Breakfast was good, and the dinner options were too.

Great location.
Nice rooms.
Good breakfast.
No AC in room.
One member of group was vegetarian and thought there could be a little more choice for breakfast, baked beans would have been a good addition.
Breakfast was lovely.
The hot food was delicious.
The staff were friendly and professional.
The hotel itself is comfortable and homely.
I would love a few healthy breakfast options such as chopped nuts and fresh fruit....ie not tinned.
