It was a very nice hotel. The staff was friendly especially the Barkeeper! It was very quiet.
They packed packages for us instead of the breakfast.
Some Lightswitches did not work and we had no toilet paper (in defense for the staff: We forgot to ask after we recognized it.
Beautiful location. Bed and bathroom clean and comfortable
The halls and reception were a bit shabby, could do with updating
Getting the couch was handy enough, the location was quite amazing. But the price of food/drinks is a pure rip off the bedroom was good. Now the scenery was just amazing even when it rained. The staff are awesome!
Thanks
Price of food and drinks are just a joke!!!
Phenomenal location immediately adjacent to the monastic settlement. Lovely building and complex. The rooms were excellent with an extremely comfortable bed. Large, well appointed bathroom. The onsite pub and restaurant were cosy and served delicious food. The staff were lovely, especially Michael in the bar whose wish for sunshine during our vow renewal ceremony the next day came true despite all forecasts to the contrary.
Nothing
Location was excellent. Hotel was very good value for money.
Check in process took a bit long. Probably need more staff on the desk at the Check in time.
Location
Breakfast was woeful, choice and quality of food very poor. Toaster hardly toasted bread, no fresh fruit and food warmers not the best so hot food was luke warm.
Bar area could do with a bit of tlc...
Beautiful location
Staff - espicially the breakfast girls
It’s an 80s-style hotel with poor facilities, relying heavily on its location. It’s also uncomfortably close to one of Ireland’s great monuments.
There’s no gym, the WiFi is terrible, and the breakfast is well below average. No sauna either — which is a missed opportunity, especially given the location. Even the staff agree it would be an obvious addition.
