Extremely comfortable stay with very good food. Pretty good value too.
Pros:

Very nice pub with rooms. Check in was easy one of our rooms was a very comfortable and well equipped accessible room as one of our party is less abled. This was on the ground floor and easily accessed. The other room was extremely well appointed and very comfortable. Food in the pub is very good and reasonably priced, breakfast (not included in the room rate), was excellent.

Cons:

The second room was on the third floor and there is only a lift to the first floor. Not an issue for us, but if you have mobility problems, might be worth asking for ground or first floor. Good selection of four different cask ales in the pub, but two were 'off', which happens but was a bit of a shame.

Recommended! Great stay.
Pros:

Comfortable beds, good facilities (kettle, coffee machine, fridge etc) Lovely, interesting pub, yet no noise and a seating area outside the room in the courtyard. Very nice, helpful staff. Great Italian restaurant next door and the pub also does food.

Cons:

The only slight inconvenience was having the more comfortable bed up a flight of stairs. The bathroom was downstairs, so if you need the loo during the night you have to bear that in mind. There was a sofa bed downstairs.

Comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

Comfortable room and bed. Great location and facilities.

Cons:

Air conditioning wouldn’t go below 19’
Our room felt really hot as we couldn’t open the window as it was ground floor and open to the road.
No decaffeinated coffee in the room or for breakfast.

Good
Pros:

Staff were helpful

Cons:

I had asked for a twin and got a double bed . I was with my daughter so we had to share . The bed was very big so wasn’t a problem , but a twin would have been better

Excellent rooms & location
Pros:

Spacious room with sofa. Breakfast very good. Very clean room. Tea/coffee provided. Good choice of food in the restaurant. Staff very friendly & helpful. Great outside pub garden with heaters & blankets.

Cons:

The room we had (room 20) was at the very top floor. No lift, so would need help if heavy luggage. The reception staff offers help if needed when checking in.
