Pros:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich, wurde immer sofort wieder aufgefüllt.
Die Lage des Hotels war perfekt, ein paar Gehminuten von der Piazza entfernt in einem romantischen Gässlein. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Entdeckung im Herzen Ascona's
Pros:

Toll geführer Betrieb. Wir wollten am Mittag nachfragen ob wir das Gepäck schon deponieren können, da wurde uns der Schlüssel übergeben, das Zimmer sei für uns bereit.
Sehr freundliches Personal, super saubere moderne Zimmer, mit der besten hineingefliesten Dusche die ich je in einem Hotelzimmer hatte.
Mit dem Frühstücksbuffet fängt der Tag gut an, im Innenhof ist es an den heissen Tagen schön kühl.
Absolut empfehlenswert, wir wissen wo wir beim nächsten Mal buchen.

A pleasant stay within 2 minutes of the lake shore.
Pros:

The location was ideal; the breakfast was varied and tasty. The bathroom was cleanly, modern and spatious, and the room was a good temperature despite the heatwave.

Cons:

The bedroom was a bit small, despite having picked a larger room (I wonder if the small rooms felt very cramped?). The bedroom also felt minimalist and possibly lacked a little character.
