Le calme

Cons:

Que les consommations internes à l'établissement doivent être payées immédiatement et non totalisées sur la facture finale.
Que dans un hôtel de ce standing il soit impossible de payer par carte bancaire international alors qu'un simple magasin l'accepte. Cela met dans l'embarras surtout quand la possibilité de retrait ou change dans la ville est pratiquement inexistante ou défectueuse.

Accept swimming pool issue rest is ok to stay
Pros:

Property is good and location too.

Cons:

No water filled in swimming pool and same not maintained as availability mentioned while booking this hotel.

Pros:

The location is quite close to the caves and certain restaurants. Staff are friendly which sadly does not make up for the other factors

Cons:

Maintenue is quite poor. The rooms from a distance can be deceiving. Upon further inspection, water collected on the outside terrace does not dry for two days. I noticed filthy towels were placed in the bathrooms and moreover, the pillowcases were not changed for room service and were clearly used and remains unwashed for a long period.
Yellowed stains and improper cleaning brings the so called heritage prestige into question.

I would home stays may be worth the inflated costs. Make sure to settle on fare with richsaw drivers

Exceptional
Pros:

Great receptionist who were really positive and helpful. Overall I loved staying in the room especially the view from the balcony.

Cons:

Staff working around the grounds (around the rooms and terraces) were having quite loud discussions/ arguments that lasted for quite a long time, sometimes

Very nice hotel and a great place to relax after a day’s climbing.
Pros:

Huge rooms, very clean and a great location out of the hussle of Badami. Waiter was excellent throughout our stay. Staff on the whole were helpful with requests and arranging transport.

Cons:

Only downside was a slight leak in the bathroom.

Good location green and peaceful. Very large rooms
Pros:

The hotel is in a quiet and green place
The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are huge
Breakfast at the restaurant was good and overall restaurant is good

Cons:

While booking they mentioned a swimming but actually there is no water for the past few years. They should remove the swimming pool from their description

Pros:

Almost everything - Location, the property and its ambience, Room. Breakfast was good with adequate choices. During our 2 days stay we did not have any outside food since we were quite happy with the quality of the food being served during lunch and dinner.

Decent hotel, good location
Pros:

1. Spacious premises.
2. Food was delicious.
3. Reception and restaurant serving staff were supportive and good.
4. Accommodated our request for changing all linens.
5. Villa rooms were huge, with a bedroom size bathroom, huge balcony, a swing, also an open to sky shower area.
6. Pet rabbits and hares played all around the premise, children would love them.
7. Location was close to the sightseeing points in Badami.

Cons:

The following could be improved:
1. Room linens - We had a total of 2 Villa rooms and 2 Cottage rooms.
In my villa room, the linen were not at all clean on the first night for 2 beds and 1 extra floor mattress. They literally looked unclean and had a dusty smell. I had to request them to change all my linen. So on the first night I slept with a thin personal shawl as they didn't have the stock to change the linen.
On the 2nd day, they changed all the linens and they were good. However, for the extra mattress I did not receive any blanket as they didn't have any stock. I had to use a duvet cover as a blanket.

2. The cottage rooms were quite stuffy, had AC but no fan. Hence felt dingy.

Highly reccomend this place to stay if you visit Badami
Pros:

Clean beautiful spacious room with awesome staff. Location is away from the busyness in Badami city.

Cons:

Breakfast time only till 9 am. You will get couple of calls from the reception around 8:15 am. If you looking to rest and sleep till late this is not the place.
They should prolong the breakfast timing at least till 10 am. The food was little bit spicy and they should add more continental and vegan food to their menu.
We saw couple of children working and handling the garbage makes us sad but this is the reality in India.
