I hope visitors to Balige have the chance to visit Damar Toba even if it is only to see the amazing view of Lake Toba.
Pros:

Good location and good hospitality. Friendly and helpful staff. I had a great experience and even had help from Hendro Naibaho with my travel itinerary.

Cons:

No complaints. Everyone did their best to make my stay a memorable one.

It was a cozy place with beautiful view of the lake and well trained staff. My boys definitely enjoyed their breakfast, it was suprisingly very good. It was one of my best stays. Definitely will stay longer the next time I visit.

Tempatnya nyaman indah bersih, suasana juga enak, makanannya juga enak,setiap pagi bisa dengar suara ayam berkokok burung berkicau, lonceng gereja suasana yang damai tentram, dan melihat sunrise yang indah sekali. Sudah 2 kali nginap masih ingin balik lagi.

Absolute winner!
Pros:

Great lakesight, comfy rooms, the most friendly staff we’ve seen.

Cons:

Already been spoken we miss some comfort seats to sit on on the decks. The bautiful chairs are not made for long cosy chats.

Nice good quality hotel targeting non-Western tourists.
Pros:

It was a comfortable stay by the lake but also convenient for the Silangit airport. Staff made a fuss of me and the evening meal was excellent and good value.

Cons:

Bit noisy from music in the restaurant but it stopped before it got late

Menginaplah di Damar Toba! Bermain di taman & nikmatilah hidangan restorannya!

Banyaaaak sekali hal yang kami sukai dari Damar Toba! Fasilitas, kebersihan, kerapihan, pelayanan, rasa makanan/ minuman semua sangat memuaskan. Staff resepsionis hotel sangat cepat dalam merespon, kami merasa terbantu! Pegawai di restoran pun sangat responsif & ramah. Welcome drink-nya nggak main-main!! 👍

Kami senang sekali berkesempatan menghabiskan waktu beberapa hari di sini. Kami kagum melihat bagaimana Owner membuat perencanaan akomodasi yang begitu serius seperti penyediaan USB cable, tatakan Pad, arah kiblat yang jelas di dalam kamar, makanan/ minuman halal, shower dengan 3 fungsi yang salah satunya bisa dipakai berwudhu, dll. Penerangan di dalam kamar sangat baik, sehingga meski di malam hari dengan gorden ditutup, kamar tetap terang.

Layout kamar juga menarik meski nggak terlalu luas, tapi masih bisa digunakan untuk sholat. Bersantai² di dalam kamar sambil nonton Netflix juga sudah sangat menyenangkan. Ditambah lagi privilage tamu inap yang boleh menggunakan area piers membuat kami merasa istimewa. Petugas hotel mengelap mobil (hanya bagian luar) juga adalah sebuah nilai tambah serius, pertahankan! Oh iya, pengadaan dua papan cornhole di taman adalah ide luar biasa! Selain anak², tamu dewasa juga bisa bermain sambil menikmati keindahan taman dengan latar danau Toba yang berkilau.

Semoga di lain waktu kami masih bisa main kesini lagi dengan keluarga tercinta.
