Good points, bad points
Pros:

The location is good, nice surrounding area. Was close to train station, shops and some local restaurants are very nice. Try (Pony )across the road from hotel.

Cons:

Given only one room key, which works electricity, so if you wake early to go get breakfast and accompanying persons are stuck in room in dark until you return so the are unable to shower and ready.
(Staff have very little English so don't expect a lot of advice in that department. (I have no German so can't blame them fully)
(Did try to help get a pain killer for headache))
No food available on site. So your going out for breakfast.
No amenities to make a cup of tea or coffee.
Shower curtain, a lot of mold at the end.
Courtyard outside of room, noisy and loud, staff from restaurant below building bring out rubbish shouting and talking loudly.
24 reception? No one available when checking out and no help ordering transport next morning. (Freenow) taxi app works in area .ride paid in advance but cab turned up on time .
To get to reception from street is up stairs so if you have a buggy,unable or struggle to walk you may find it an issue.
No English speaking channels on TV.

Tolle Lage, Leistungen Basic.
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage zwischen Savignyplatz und Kurfürstendamm. Zimmer sehr sauber.

Cons:

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Serviceangebot offenkundig stark eingeschränkt im Vergleich zu früheren Zeiten. Kein Aufzug.

Położenie - bardzo dobrze skomunikowany. I całodobowa recepcja. Przyjechałam koło 21 i nie było problemu.

gut und günstig.
Pros:

Lage ist super. Preis-Leistung auch top. Frühstücken kann man in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Cons:

Treppensteigen ist nichts für Gehbehinderte. Man kann keine Getränke oder Snacks erwerben. Ein Mineralwasser wäre toll gewesen.

Posizione comoda vicina alla stazione Savignyplatz. Zona con molti locali per la colazione e per la cena.

Cons:

Nonostante sul sito e sulla loro porta sia scritto che la reception è aperta 24 ore su 24, il giorno della partenza la reception era chiusa, abbiamo aspettato dalle 8.45 alle 9.10 per poter lasciare i bagagli in modo da riprenderli la sera, ma non è arrivato nessuno e abbiamo dovuto trovare e pagare un deposito bagagli (Il servizio di deposito bagagli viene fatto dall' hotel, e il giorno dell' arrivo avevamo potuto lasciare i bagagli prima dell' orario di check in). Inoltre per entrare in hotel è necessario suonare un campanello ed attendere l' apertura. Quella mattina, non essendoci nessuno, la porta non veniva aperta (non è un campanello automatico). Se una mattina dopo essere usciti avessimo avuto la necessità di rientrare per qualche motivo ci saremmo trovati chiusi fuori.

Avoid at all costs - and I mean costs!

We liked the proximity to the S-Bahn. Nothing else.

Cons:

What's a kettle? What's a fridge? What's polite conversation with staff members? This place has no idea. Parking was advertised on the Booking site as being available - yes it is, in the same way that diamond mining is available in London if you are prepared to travel: we paid €30 on top of the ludicrous hotel charge. This place encapsulated in one establishment the archetypical view of the humourless German (the monosyllabic receptionist should be on the comedy circuit), so much at odds with the Germany of song, food, politeness and beauty we experienced everywhere else on our holiday.
