Had a great 5 night stay. This hotel is away from everything. So you will need a car to get around like groceries, sight seeing, restaurants or to go to other resorts. There are shuttle buses but it is a hassle to wait and get things organised for us
-gear rentals is within the hotel. Though slightly more expensive, it is worth the extra dollars for the convenience. The staff are so patient. You can go back to them if you need adjustments or return when you need a day break and then rent again
-there is a magic carpet outside the hotel for you to warm up or practice on a tiny slope as a beginner
-gondola and chair lifts are just a short walk away. Super convenient!
-you can buy the lift passes on a machine in the hotel or at a counter near gondola 5 mins away
-some passes are cheaper online. Do check
-half day passes available at counter but for 1pm-4pm. Hope they offer mornings too
-we had the impression that it might be quiet on the slope in this part of mountain but to our surprise, it was packed! There were hundreds of students and they blocked our paths on the slope most of the time. Was it school day in the first week of March? Not sure
-ski lessons are available too. Ask the hotel for more infor. Meeting area is near the hotel too
-roads a plowed everyday but we still had to drive slow and carefully
-though we got a suite with mountain view, it wasnt the Mount Yotei. It was a view of the ski slopes with the front yard of hotel haha
-there is a small onsen. That was nice
-we got a suite with kitchen so we cook all our meals. Eating out was a hassle and cost more
-room is clean with modern design
-we love that this is a quiet area unlike Grand Hirafu area
-the staff are amazing!!! They were so helpful and attentive! Special shout out to Julienne from Canada, Kim from Korea, Nagata!
We already knew all the drawbacks before coming and we were prepared for it. So if this fits your daily needs, this is a great choice of hotel

We love the ski in and ski out feature of this hotel, we love the ability to be able to cook and wash if required but have full hotel services as well.
Staff were amazing, location was spectacular...beautiful hotel
A bit pricey, had to pay extra for breakfast. Well worth it if you got a deal package but we didn't
Todo. Muy cómodo.
We had a wonderful stay at this brand-new hotel. The facilities are excellent, especially the onsen, which was perfect after a day of skiing. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of everything, with true ski-in/ski-out access and a very convenient ski room for storage.
The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to Gabi and Jay, who went above and beyond to help us with restaurant bookings and always greeted us with a smile. Their care really made us feel at home.
We truly enjoyed our holiday here and hope to return again very soon. We are Hazel and Dada
Nothing
It’s located in a quieter location and the ski place is family friendly
None
We loved the rooms
The staff were so friendly and helpful
Location was quiet and easy access to the slopes
Ski-in ski-out; big room with kitchen and laundry machine; very comfortable and cozy.
It does not have a spa or a kombini inside the property.
We loved the location. Hinode Hills is located in Niseko Village which is approximately 12 minutes from Niseko Hirafu - the main shopping, restaurant area of the mountain. The hotel provides an efficient shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes. Niseko Village is quiet and with all of the snow around us it was like being in a winter wonderland. Accessing the snow and lifts was super easy. The hotel offers a ski valet (amazing!) and lifts are accessible via a short magic carpet. The bonus of this area is that the lifts are much quieter meaning fewer queues and a faster trip to the top of the mountain. Our kids are beginner skiers and it was super easy to book lessons. We also loved the accommodation. The apartments are spacious, really well designed, comfortable, clean and new. This was among the best ski accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel also has an onsite onsen.
My only recommendation would be to improve the restaurant experience. There is only one restaurant onsite and it’s ridiculously expensive and lacks character and atmosphere. Given that Niseko Village is a bit remote, this was annoying as it was difficult to access food. I’d recommend having a food truck / coffee cart onsite (which is very common in Niseko more generally), opening a bar onsite and reducing prices so they are in line with the rest of the mountain. The only snacks on site are available from vending machines on each floor. Niseko Yo food village is about 10 minutes away and that is excellent. The staff were very friendly but sometimes were a bit confused when we made simple requests like asking for assistance booking transfers. I think they need to forge more relationships with local companies so that requests like these are very straightforward.
Rooms were nice, location was good.
Breakfast was average, restaurant was average. Staff were inconsistent in service.
Standout staff were Jason, Julian, Dede, and Cara, all were great.
