I achieved my objective to relax and have peaceful stay by the ocean.
Pros:

On the beach. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit privately. Surrounded by nature. Great food and restaurant choices.

Cons:

Some rooms a bit run down. I had to move after the roof found rattling from wind. Staff very accommodating. I understand it was low season and renovations were taking place.

We had an amazing vacation and wished we could have stayed longer!
Pros:

This was a wonderful location for us as you could walk in the jungle, swim and snorkel right out front at the quiet natural beach Playa Pelada or walk to the surf beach Playa Guiones and explore the town, Guiones. The breakfast is included and it’s very good with several high quality options. You can stay at the hotel for lunch for an additional fee. We found it very worth eating there and often did as it was so good and very convenient. We didn’t feel much need to go far as it was all so beautiful and pleasant. Plus there are many opportunities for excursions that the front desk helps you plan.

Cons:

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like this, it just took a bit to get used to that there isn’t much of a nightlife. It’s an early to rise full day outdoors and winds down quite early including being dark by 6:15. So we didn’t go out to dinner much although you can. Restaurant La Luna is walking distance and very good. A great place to watch the sunset. And little taxi’s can bring you out or back to the hotel.

Très stressante à cause des chiens
Pros:

La vue et l accès à la plage ! Les chambres sont belles

Cons:

Notre fils de 9 ans a été agressé par les 2 chiens du propriétaire qui ne s est pas excusé ! Et le 2eme jour au petit déjeuner, les chiens étaient encore plus agressifs ! Je ne recommanderais jamais cet hôtel car les enfants ne se sentent pas en sécurité! Le personnel est sympa mais le propriétaire est odieux !

Wouldn’t go back to Nosara without staying here again

Perfect Nosara location
Pros:

Amazing location - close to everything & great views; breakfast was good and nice that it’s included; warm pool nice for swimming; La Luna restaurant next door was great; cool building

Cons:

Overall lovely place but there was no sound proofing, noisy dogs, ants in bathroom, curtains didn’t block light

Unbelievable views of the beach, cool architecture, large pool and lovely staff.
Pros:

We loved the ocean views from the restaurant and from the room balcony. The pool was large with confy sun loungers. We loved the large rooms with seating area. The breakfast is also very tasty. The staff is super nice. We loved practicing our Spanish with the charismatic Jocelyn at the restaurant.

Cons:

Off the strip a bit.

The pool, grassy area, open eating area, and friendly pups.

Cons:

Only complaint is that there were many spots where my 1 y.o could have taken big falls. A toddler can easily fit through the balcony railings. It’s beautiful, just east for a small child to fall there.

Unique architecturally, amazing gardens and Playa Guiones beach views from balconies, delicious breakfasts, relaxing pool environment, walk ability to Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones, and attentive and friendly service. Amazing comfortable beds.

Cons:

If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to fix the swing bar door guard/lock in our room. Although we didn’t have any issues, I have read other reviews about security issues. There are multiple open dark paths leading to the hotel property and adding bolt locks to all rooms would provide added security.

Great view, sub par facilities.
Pros:

Great location. The best view of the beaches. Large rooms. Walk to playa Guiones and another beach. Store close. Breakfast was good. View is absolutely amazing.

Cons:

You can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbor. The sound of toilet seats dropping. Coughing. Talking. Flushing the toilet. Conversations. There is zero privacy, it’s gross and totally annoying. Our room had the water turned off for some reason when we arrived, but that wasn’t that big a deal. We had to play music to not hear the neighbors and I know they could hear everything we said. The place looks cool in the pics, but the teacups and artsy hand coming down from the sky part of the property is just the owners quarters. Surveying their fiefdom. You’ll be staying in a row of rooms that faces the sea, which is a great view, but it’s not that central portion that they show online.

Pros:

Breakfast was great. Pool and staff were exceptional. The location was stunning, really the only property overlooking Pelada and Guinones beaches. Every other property with more than 10 rooms is set back well from the beach view.

Cons:

It wasn't a big deal but they need to do some touch up on room painting. And a couple building accents needed work.
