Perfect surf and yoga oasis
Pros:

The rooms were very clean, the food at the jungle bar was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the beach and lots of options for food nearby. The yoga classes were also amazing. It was a nice, quiet resort perfect for relaxing.

Cons:

The pool had quite a few large bugs floating in it each day

Nice space and amenities, but lacking basic hospitality.
Pros:

The property itself is cute, comfortable, and has a relaxed vibe. There’s a great on-site juice bar (run separately) with excellent juices and sandwiches, and the staff there were genuinely warm and friendly. The yoga classes were also very good, with great instructors. Overall, the physical space and amenities are appealing and offer good value for the area.

Cons:

What was missing was a basic sense of hospitality. Check-in begins at 3 pm, but reception closes at 4 pm, which creates a very limited window for any in-person welcome or orientation. Even when staff were present, interactions felt impersonal and transactional rather than warm or service-oriented. At one point, I was sitting next to the reception desk while staff communicated with me via Booking.com messages instead of speaking with me directly, which felt unusual and unwelcoming.

A little paradise in the heart of Playa Guiones
Pros:

A little paradise. Such a beautiful pool area. Although a bit crowded if some of the classes take a swim after their class. Room is very nice and clean, it’s a cute cottage bungalow, has everything you need. I would recommend this place if you visit playa guiones also for its great central location - only takes a short walk to the beach but also next to bars/restaurants. We were only there for one night (because it was fully booked with retreats) but If i‘m in the area, i will defo choose this hotel again, also for a retreat, this must be wonderful. Thank you!

Cons:

The pool water looked not clean, we didn‘t want to swim in it. The humidity and smell in the room when we arrived - but after letting some fresh air in and then leave AC on it was ok.

Nice location, but not so quiet and peaceful
Pros:

The location is great as it is not far away from the beach and there are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. They also have a lot of yoga sessions during the day.

Cons:

The room was very small and it could get loud at night. The common areas are actually a cafe/bar used by many others as well. There was limited space for having a peaceful quiet time outdoors. The breakfast started too late. Also, as a guest of the hotel in my view it would have been nice to be able to attend a yoga class for free.

Pros:

Loved this little slice of heaven! All staff were amazing and welcoming, location is prime super close to restos and coffee shops and the beach of course. The room was lovely and clean and spacious, I loved the little touch of not only having coffee in the room, but they included milk in the fridge and a bottle of water that you can refill near the pool. Also having a diffuser was such a lovely touch! Would def come back again, oh and try their smoothies 😋

We had such a lovely stay at Norte Nosara! The staff were very helpful and it was so centrally located. It was perfect! Close to the beach, and right in the middle of town!

It is a fabulous place to relax and enjoy true Costa Rica hospitality.
Pros:

It was a peaceful oasis. The staff were so welcoming, attentive and friendly. The pool was fantastic , the food delicious and healthy. The yoga studio and teachers were excellent.

Aire acondicionado y ventilador dejaron de funcionar en medio de la noche y no había a quien contactar para recibir ayuda o en su defecto cambio de habitación. Se nos informó a última hora que recepción no era 24h y el host poco servicial.

Great location and lovely clean property, more of a motel than a hotel.
Pros:

Norte Nosara is located right in town and amazing access to the beach. Rooms are basic and very clean. Things like water pressure and coffee maker are inconsistent or don’t work, but you are so close to everything that it’s not much of a problem. Linens should have been changed during my longer stay, but overall housekeeping is good. It’s quiet despite being in the centre of town. Restaurant is nice and people who run it are lovely.

Cons:

It was not great value for money, although I stayed at high season. The facilities are well maintained but it is not designed for you to stay around hotel - not much space/chairs to lounge if you want to. There is little help during the day - the person at reception is great when you get her but only available 8-4. I asked for a list of restaurants and was told they would send it and never did.

Pros:

El hospedaje tiene buenas habitaciones, la cama estaba muy cómoda, me gustó que tuviera mini refri, café para hacer y agua. También el escritorio, y para colgar la ropa. El baño muy amplio.

De noche se escucha un poco el ruido de la calle pero no fue grave. Fácil acceso a la piscina y una caminata de menos de 5 min para llegar a la playa, eso me gusto mucho.

Las dos chicas que atienden la "recepción" fueron muy amables.

Cons:

En general esta bastante bien. Lo que no me gusta en general es que la zona es más cara de lo normal, entonces a veces se siente que el precio que uno paga no da para tanto, en otros países/zonas del país sería mejor el hospedaje vs lo que uno esta pagando.

Pros:

Отель близко к пляжу и хорошая еда в ресторане.

Cons:

это очень дешевое место и соответственно качество. Мебель старая,постель синтетическая . Общий вид уставший и все сделано из самых дешевых материалов. Я не спала только. Было неудобно и неприятно из-за запахов и качества постели. Не соответствует фото.
