The most stunning peaceful venue to venture to nearby towns (Ostuni town 10-15 min away). Go adventuring or stay poolside, or read a book in the gardens. Beautiful thoughtful designs everywhere you look. Spectacular breakfast. Great food and drinks poolside. Beautiful dinner setting. Superb

Nestled in gorgeous countryside just 10 minutes outside Ostuni, Masseria Cervarolo is the ultimate hub for soaking in Apulia.
Pro tip: Go for the superior room! We stayed in Room 16 above the little chapel, which was fantastic. Since it's a historic property, standard rooms can run a little dark and compact, though you can also bed down in a traditional Trullo if you're chasing an even more authentic experience. Either way, you won’t spend much time inside when there’s a pool the size of a small lake waiting outside. With 35°C days, spending our afternoons poolside after morning day trips was pure perfection with a Aperol Spritz. The communal Apulian dinner under the olive trees was another massive highlight—phenomenal food, great wine, and lovely company.
Town-wise, Alberobello, Ostuni, Martina Franca, and Ceglie Messapica are all super accessible and really buzz after 7:00 PM. Ceglie in particular has hidden back-alley Osterias that are worth the trip alone. Likewise for Ostuni which is bigger. Also, bring your appetite for breakfast; substantial enough to make lunch obsolete!
Two Quick Notes for Future Perfection:
Laundry: Since there was a 5-night minimum stay for the time of the year we were visiting, having an on-site laundry option would be a huge bonus for long-haul travellers who can't pack weeks of clothes! On the bright side, taking our washing to Acqua Clean in Ostuni reintroduced my wife and I to laundromats for the first time since my university days. and the owner gave us top-tier local restaurant recommendations!
Bed Length: At 6 feet tall, my feet spent the week dangling off the end of the bed. Unless this is authentic historical accuracy at play, a bed and pillow upgrade would do wonders!
All in all, a fantastic stay with wonderful staff in a beautiful corner of the world.
We loved our stay at Masseria Cervarolo this July. The accommodation and all the surrounding buildings and grounds are beautiful. Probably our favourite holiday pool yet…it was so chilled out and quiet, even in mid July (but the children still felt free to have fun and make some noise!). The whole place has such a lovely vibe and we would love to return.
We had a family suite and we loved the size and location of this and the interior was lovely albeit a bit dark. The swimming pool is very clean and spacious. The history ofthe property and the small chapel within. Reception staff very polite and efficient..
Restaurant portion sizes are too small and menu was dissapointing. We thought the menu would have far more traditional italian dishes, home cooked style food but instead it was very fine dining. Also pressured into having a table at 7.30pm on arrival day and told this was the last table but then to our surprise people were still arriving for dinner up until 9pm so this was presumably only so the chef could cope with numbers which was odd because the masseria only accommodated18 rooms in total. Mattresses were quite uncomfortable,too firm. Room could use more lighting and brighter lighting. Pool and pool bar area lacked ambience we felt, had the feel of a health retreat rather than a holiday. Sunbeds were very basic and uncomfortable. Given the price per night, would have expected more comfortable sunbeds.
The property is absolutely stunning! Looks better in real life than the photos. The pool is huge and the fact that there is a bar is great for drinks throughout the day. Our room was a great size and comfortable.
We underestimated how tiring it would be to drive between towns, as the Masseria is located 20min from the nearest one (Ostuni). So not the best base to do sightseeing from, but perfect if you want to stay in paradise and relax for a few days! I had higher expectations for the breakfast as it was so hyped up on here. I would pass on the on-site restaurant as the food was a bit bland and disappointing unfortunately.
We have a really good time there
Everything was well maintained and the grounds were very beautiful. The olive groves, the pool, the trulli houses were so inviting and charming. Felt like stepping back in time.

Wow! What a beautiful night we had in this magical farm stay. The food was beautiful, the day we spent by the pool was peaceful and we felt like we were the only people there. It was amazing!

Wonderful location, and beautiful Masseria. We brought our 2.5 year old and it was a perfect spot for him - lovely pool and wonderful service.
The place is beautiful, well looked after, clean, easy to find and the breakfast is excellent, very good products. The cleaners and breakfast staff are super nice.
Guests don't have priority over visitors at the restaurant. They have low availability and expect you to book in advance and they are so unflexible. Some of the restaurant staff were not particularly friendly. That wouldn't matter if the masseria wasn't in the middle of nowhere, but there is nothing else within 15 minutes drive. That spoiled a couple of evenings. In hospitality, you accommodate your guests, not the other way around.
A beautiful, peaceful property with lovely grounds, a great pool and easy parking. We enjoyed the authentic Puglian setting, but when paying a premium price, we expected a little more. The rooms and bathrooms were very small, Wi-Fi was poor and service could be slow. Breakfast sometimes ran out and the juice was occasionally diluted, although this improved quickly after we gave feedback. We would also have liked more variety on the poolside food menu. Overall, a lovely stay in a beautiful setting, but a few improvements are needed to fully justify the premium price.

Beautiful Masseria, great staff and food. The buffet under the olive trees was a wonderful experience of Puglian cuisine iand culture. Great balance between family orientated whilst having lovely adult areas to relax. Room was perfect for family with 2 teen children. Location is perfect for access to beaches, olive tastings, evenings out etc. Would highly recommend
