Superb
Pros:

Beautiful location, very relaxex atmosphere. Polite and friendly staff and great food. Very well kept gardens and very comfortable facilities

Cons:

Whlst its a very relaxed atmosphere, so females that went into eat wearing skant swim wear was a bit off putting and not acceptable.

Charming and friendly
Pros:

We have been coming to Ocean sports for about 40 years. We love the beautiful beach at Watamu and the ‘club’ atmosphere of Ocean sports. The rooms are simple but have everything you need.
The main reception/bar/dining area are open plan, the deck is a charming spot for meals or drinks.
The staff are really excellent, whether waiters or the pool attendants. The gardens are pretty, if anything they need to be cut back a bit so residents can see the sea from their rooms.
The new pool is gorgeous but my big complaint is there are no hand rails to help you get in and out of the pool. That simple fact, sadly would put me off staying again despite pool staff being around to help.

Pros:

L emplacement sur la plage est exceptionnel, le jardin est magnifique et immense!
La piscine est fantastique , le personnel est très efficace et à l écoute
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon.
L’espace est très grand et toutes les chambres se fondent dans la nature, on s y sent très bien

Pros:

Great place, lovely people and delcious food. Would recommend and would go back. Always reliable and great with a young baby.

We had a fantastic stay at Ocean Sports for eight days in December/January-25/26. So lovely with sand between our toes all day long. Nice atmosphere, nice, friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the restaurant, which could also be ordered from the pool bar. Lovely with a Padel court when we wanted to sweat a little extra. We stayed two by two in different rooms, but next to each other. It worked very well. Clean and fresh. Mosquito nets around the beds. Well-functioning AC. Hard and comfortable beds. The only small minus was that Wifi was not available in the rooms. It gets a bit complicated since the internet is used for so much these days and roaming mobile data is very expensive for Europeans.
We had the number of a taxi driver for the entire stay. It was very convenient to have someone to call wherever we were and wherever we were going. His name is Julius, and he also helped us with various bookings of tours, etc. Among other things, a snorkeling tour, but he could also offer safari tours to Tsavo. Very nice and easy to deal with. Wonderful resort/pool complex. Great Pizza/staff, attentive new management.

Cons:

We booked late, so were pleased we were able to reserve a room.
We've visited each year, this being our second of 2025. We've previously stayed in an upgraded room, this time we stayed in an older room / block that is in need of upgrade.
But the bed was comfortable, outlook attractive and room-staff very efficient :-))

Cons:

Ac:n på vårt rum strulade 3 av 5 nätter. Hotellet skickade ut tekniker som löste problemet varje morgon men besvärligt att det var återkommande.
Sen var kvaliteten på maten i resturangen sämre än förväntat.
