Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Ocean Sports for eight days in December/January-25/26. So lovely with sand between our toes all day long. Nice atmosphere, nice, friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the restaurant, which could also be ordered from the pool bar. Lovely with a Padel court when we wanted to sweat a little extra. We stayed two by two in different rooms, but next to each other. It worked very well. Clean and fresh. Mosquito nets around the beds. Well-functioning AC. Hard and comfortable beds. The only small minus was that Wifi was not available in the rooms. It gets a bit complicated since the internet is used for so much these days and roaming mobile data is very expensive for Europeans.
We had the number of a taxi driver for the entire stay. It was very convenient to have someone to call wherever we were and wherever we were going. His name is Julius, and he also helped us with various bookings of tours, etc. Among other things, a snorkeling tour, but he could also offer safari tours to Tsavo. Very nice and easy to deal with. Wonderful resort/pool complex. Great Pizza/staff, attentive new management.
Pros:

Breakfast at Ocean Sports is always extremely good

Cons:

We booked late, so were pleased we were able to reserve a room.
We've visited each year, this being our second of 2025. We've previously stayed in an upgraded room, this time we stayed in an older room / block that is in need of upgrade.
But the bed was comfortable, outlook attractive and room-staff very efficient :-))

Cons:

Ac:n på vårt rum strulade 3 av 5 nätter. Hotellet skickade ut tekniker som löste problemet varje morgon men besvärligt att det var återkommande.
Sen var kvaliteten på maten i resturangen sämre än förväntat.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a laid back vibe.
Pros:

This a beautiful hotel, with new swimming pool overlooking a stunning beach. The decor was stylish - recently refurbished. The staff were so friendly and food especially breakfast was excellent. We played padel they have two courts. We also did their snorkeling trip which I would highly recommend. We will be coming back.

Cons:

The only thing I was sad to see was the plastic pollution on the beach. The local hotels should all contribute to cleaning up the beach. So sad as it is part of a marine conservation area.

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit ein paar Schattenseiten in den alten Zimmern
Pros:

Altes, bewährtes Hotel in perfekter Lage in der Turtle Bay. Auswahl ans Speisen ist gut - die Qualität sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und reichhaltig. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre ist sehr schön im Hotel. Bar und Restaurant haben viel Charme. Die große Terrasse des Restaurants direkt am Meer ist einfach wunderschön.
Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren hierher, um das Restaurant zu nutzen. Immer wieder gerne!
Die einfachen Zimmer sind in Reihe entlang des Abhangs zum Strand hin angeordnet und die meisten Zimmer haben einen traumhaften Meerblick von der Terrasse. Der Pool hat eine wunderbare Lage leicht oberhalb des Strandes und ein zweiter kleiner Pool liegt etwas abseits, sicherlich für Ruhesuchende perfekt. Insgesamt ist es angenehm ruhig im Hotel.

Cons:

Es war das erste Mal, dass wir das Hotel nicht nur wegen des Restaurants besucht haben. Leider waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Die Zimmer sind klein, was uns persönlich nicht gestört hat, da man sich ja eigentlich nur zum Schlafen darin aufhält. Wir hatten das Pech eines der noch nicht renovierten Zimmer zu bekommen. Die Bad war alt und ziemlich abgewohnt. Man hat versucht, das mit Farbe etwas zu übertünchen. Dafür war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche perfekt! Die Decke war voller gelber Flecken, vermutlich ein alter Wasserschaden. Die Klimaanlage hat einem direkt ins Genick geblasen. Sehr ungünstig installiert. Leider hat die Fernbedienung nicht funktioniert. So konnten wir nur am Schalter aus- oder einschalten. Temperatur konnte nicht verstellt werden. Also entweder frieren oder schwitzen ;-)
Es ist uns leider erst um 23 Uhr aufgefallen, da konnte kein Techniker mehr kommen. Das Moskitonetz wurde dutzende Male bereits repariert. Es umspannt das Bett daher nicht mehr richtig. An den Wänden und an der Decke war es zum Teil lose und die "Eingänge" haben nicht richtig überlappt, so dass wir die ganze Nacht mit Moskitos zum Kämpfen hatte. Schade! Es war eine sehr unkomfortable Nacht.
In der Hoffnung, dass auch die letzten Zimmer bald renoviert werden, würde ich gerne wieder kommen. Mir aber bei der Buchung bestätigen lassen, dass wir keines der unrenovierten Zimmer bekommen.
Selbst das Personal hat beim Check out bestätigt, dass die unrenovierten Zimmer leider etwas schlecht seien.

Curato, pulito, bellissimi gli spazi, bella la vista sul mare. Tutto davvero spettacolare.

Cons:

L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta (ma non dipende dalla struttura) è che nonostante tutto il personale fosse gentile, educato e professionale ALCUNI in quanto donna non mi salutavano e salutavano o mi chiedevano SOLO del mio compagno.

Beautiful compound with ocean views, great food, clean pools, friendly staff, and a peaceful low-sea
Pros:

The Compound area is green and beautiful, well designed and a view over the ocean more or less from everywhere. Wonderful restaurant/lounge area with chill atmosphere and wonderful view of the ocean both from inside and outside.
The food was delicious. A bigger pool and a smaller more private one. Both very clean and the pool areas were well taken care of. Staff were friendly and happy to help.
Long beautiful beach. I was there at low season so the winds were stronger, less visibility in the water and more seaweed than during high season. The water and beach were still enjoyable and the beauty of being there off season is less people in general. I did some kite surfing not far away.

Cons:

The room had quite poor sound insulation, both between rooms and from outside. But the sound of the ocean was relaxing.
