It is a minute away from the Wengen train station making it very practical to commute around.

Cons:

For the price I paid (over EUR 1K per night) I would have expected more modern rooms, more in room facilities etc. Everything including the TV was old. They also asked you to pay for using the capsule coffee machine in the room. Very strange. Rooms were clean but sparsely furnished and old fashioned.

I travel extensively and I felt like this was not a value for money hotel.

Location, spa.

Cons:

We stayed in July and hot season, hotel does not have air conditioning, so you have to sleep with windows open. But, Every night people outside would drink, party and make loud noises, sometimes until 3 am.

Luxurious and epic views with a few quirks
Pros:

The hotel made a great impression - we received mimosas from a really kind and funny lady at the front desk when we checked in. Our room had the most stunning view of the mountains - it felt unreal, and all of a sudden the pricepoint didn't hurt as bad :) The room itself was a little outdated, but it was a bit charming in a 1970's wooden cabin vibe. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety - even smoked salmon, champagne, and a lot of great cheeses. It all felt quite luxurious.

Cons:

The spa was really nice, but it would be nice if it closed a littel later. Also, a male staff member walked in on me nude in the sauna when they were closing which was kind of awkward.
I'd expect a hotel of this caliber to have toiletries like hair conditioner for guests.
Rooms could use a little updating at some point.

Great hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is ideal. Facilities are clean, comfortable, and serviceable. Views are AMAZING.

Cons:

"Nickel-and-dime" pricing for in-room amenities is somewhat annoying: CHF 1 for instant coffee, 0.50 for tea, etc. At the Silberhorn's price point, these tiny charges can't possibly make a difference in revenue, they're just annoying. Make it free or don't put it in the room.

Hotel viejo pero habitaciones bien adaptadas al confort, muy limpio, situación perfecta. Personal muy amable y siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades. Spa con lo justo para relajarte (incluido en el precio). Buffet completo y rico. Superó nuestras expectativas

Great location. Close to the train station (no hills to hike) and the center of the town.

Cons:

No air conditioning in the breakfast/dining area (we were there during the heat wave though). The gym was not pleasant to use; very small space with no windows and was very hot inside.

Nous ne retournerons pas dans cet hôtel
Pros:

la situation , la chambre spacieuse et agréable

Cons:

-les employés de la réception qui ne parlent qu'anglais .
C'est de plus en plus fréquent qu'en Suisse alémanique le personnel ne parle pas le français.... mais de là à ne pas parler la langue de la région... absolument scandaleux.Autant dire qu'en tant que suisses on ne se sent pas les bienvenus dans cet hôtel !!!
-une des lampes de la salle de bains qui ne fonctionnait pas et que personne n'est venu changer malgré la réclamation
-la paroi de la baignoire très courte ,obligés de se doucher collé contre la paroi pour éviter de tout inonder
-le petit déjeuner avec une qualité de produits très moyenne(par ex du fromage industriel en tranches, avec seulement deux sortes de fromages régionaux.... une honte au pays du fromage.)On a trouvé des petits déjeuners bien supérieurs dans des auberges de montagnes
