The location is just right a comfortable bed & good breakfast evening meal good

Cons:

It's lost its personal touch .
The assistant manager has left after many years who always made you feel special , I booked 2 rooms & was given the wrong room the very smaller of the 2 ( no apologies) some staff need training on tills as took age's to find i simple drink on till. Never asked about using your loyalty card. I was always asked in the past. It is a shame Lee has gone for watever reasons. He made this hotel

Lovely little place, but may not stay again due to issues mentioned

The staff were excellent, the room was clean as were surrounding communal areas

Cons:

The difficulty getting to the room. Luckily we only had hand luggage.
Lack of parking onsite, but managed to park a few roads up.
