Pros:

Location and bespoke pickup service. Breakfast and dinner was very large and filling. We had both the buffet format and the kaiseki sit down format. We did all our bathing primarily in the onsen which was lovely. The late closing time also helped. The location was great and is very walkable despite the little hill. Just bring crampons and a hiking stick to navigate the streets during high snow season and a torchlight to help drivers see you on the road even if its well lit. The staff were very helpful and the Yamato station on site was great for all the luggage forwarding needed.

Cons:

Room had actual dust bunnies in the corners where decorative lamps were. It was ok except as a Japanese style Room thats where you had to sleep and breathe too. Futons could have been a bit firmer quality. We understood what we were signing up for when booking the older rooms. However, we expected a thorough level of dust management as this was a full floor living format. In fact we chose it because of the window area that allowed us to sit by the window vs the newer Japanese rooms. But if we stay again we will go for the newer rooms. Book your rental gear ahead especially skis so you wont be left with random skis. Especially if you use between 145cm to 164cm because you will be competing with some men and teens and women for access.

Pros:

Staff are excellent and location is perfect for the slopes near by. The Onsen is amazing!

Cons:

The hotel is old and dated. I would suggest a small shop downstairs at to renovate some areas. Perhaps a restaurant rather than a makeshift buffet in a hall.

ขึ้นไปถึงเป็นห้องประชุมที่เอาอาหารมาตั้ง อาหารเกือบหมดทุกอย่าง ไม่เติม ทั้งๆที่ยังไม่หมดเวลาอาหารเช้า ไม่ประทับใจ
