Pricey, but comfortable and quiet.
Pros:

Right on the Camino. Beautiful spaces with antique furnishings. Nice rain shower head.

Cons:

For the price, I think they should have provided more amenities. For example bottled water, hot water kettle and tea in room. Perhaps a chocolate sincere Astorga is known for that.

Vriendelijk onthaal en bereidwillige medewerkers om al onze vragen op te lossen. Onze fietsen werden veilig gestald voor twee dagen. Waarvoor dank. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer verzorgd.
Stijlvolle accomodatie.

Gorgeous old royal inn right on the camino and one block from the Gaudi Palace and cathedral. Beautiful courtyard to enjoy a drink. Fabulous common rooms featuring games, fireplaces, sofas, a library, and filled with antiques, art, and historical photos. I stayed in the 'Santiago' room on the primary floor, which meant I didn't need to carry my luggage upstairs. Large room had mini split heat & AC so j could control the temperature. Bathroom had everything you'd need. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I didnt have breakfast there because it starts at 8am, a little late for me. Seemed like only one person on staff at 8am when I checked out and although she was very helpful, she was busy serving breakfast.
