bed ridiculus small and rock hard left with bad back
beds terrible
Great location and lots of great touches in decoration - truly loved the mugs!!
Wonderful wonderful views
The shower had only a half screen and leaked over the floor.
Room was a touch on the small side
We liked everything about the property. The lochside was beautiful and the staff were fabulous. On reception, in the bar, in the restaurant both dinner and breakfast. Will definitely return and recommend
The only minor thing was the view from the room. We were in room 28 which had a view of mostly the green flat roof which was a bit disappointing- I particularly love being by the water so for me that was a bit of a disappointment
PS the steak knife was VERY flimsy
Obviously having a room with the most amazing view. The bed was very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast good quality.
No complaints whatsoever
Lovely setting by the Loch. Lovely staff, great service and lovely food. Clean rooms but one minus is the small double bed in room 30. We're not fat but it was a bit of a squeeze
Its location is absolutely stunning staff was lovely
We had a small double which wasn’t very comfortable
beautiful hotel, lovely decor, friendly staff and excellent restaurant
The cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfortable.
The room was too hot. Light on the radiator lit the whole room up at night and we sleep much better in darkness. The phone lights flashed on and off constantly too distracting one of us from sleep.
The water pressure for both the shower and taps was very poor.
The park across from the hotel was off putting with open fires and barbecues happening into late evening making the hotel feel less exclusive. Policy to have drinks in plastic cups because we were having a drink outside on the hotel terrace seems odd. Wine drunk from a plastic cup is not the same. I'm an adult staying at a nice hotel...not at a gig. It just took the shine off things. Non residents ( a very large family) came and sat at the terrace next to us and proceeded to eat their picnic....again making the hotel feel less exclusive.
The loch side setting is lovely, but the rooms which were advertised as overlooking the hillside actually directly overlooks a picnic area which was busy with people having bbqs, playing load music etc- not a tranquil getaway at all.
The restaurant and coffee shop attached is nice, and the breakfast room in the hotel has stunning loch side views.
The double bed was the smallest bed I have ever encountered in a hotel room. My husband is 5ft 9 and the bed was only slightly longer than him- if you are any taller avoid.
Good location
The room & bed were both ridiculously small. The photos on the website do not represent the actual room & bed sizes. I complained to the reception but all they suggested was that I fork out another £150 for a suite, which was a rip off - why should I pay more money, all I wanted was a normal size bed!! Hardly had any sleep at all due to the tiny bed. Very poor customer service in not offering me a proper bed! Waste of money. DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU WANTA GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP
All i can is best time 100%
Nice place, nice food
We asked through booking.com for early check in at 12 as we were going to a funeral at 1.15.
The message did not get through and the hotel would not help and only offered a toilet to get changed in ! Staff could not care less ! Terrible service !!
Everything..food scenery staff..comfy bed 😁
The location the view the piece and quite
There was nothing I didn't like
Gluten free choices for breakfast 👍
Found the bed too high and hard.
