Pros:

Het sivan sleutel ophalen is perfect. En het hotel heeft het beste uitzicht van de hele stad. Als je tenminste (zoals wij) op de verdieping aan de achterzijde een kamer hebt.

Stadtnah und trotzdem ruhig. Alles super. Wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Wunderschöner Blick über die Stadt, gute, saubere Zimmer, ansprechendes Bad, leckeres Frühstück. Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr freundliches Personal, unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe per Schlüsselsafe. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Kleines Hotel mit schönem Blick
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt am Jakobsberg und bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf Bamberg. Zu Fuß ist es mit etwas Anstrengung (letzter steiler Anstieg) auch gut zu erreichen. Aber der Bus hält direkt vor der Tür.
Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet, das Zimmer sauber und groß (1. Stock, Stadtblick). Das Personal war sehr freundlich, auch wenn man es nur zum Frühstück sieht. Tagsüber war das Hotel "unbesetzt", der Schlüssel muss am Eingang in einem Kasten geholt werden.
Das Frühstück und der Service waren gut.

Cons:

Da das Hotel tagsüber nicht besetzt ist, konnten wir bei früherer Anreise leider unser Gepäck nicht unterstellen (Anreise per Zug). Die durchgängige Matratze im Doppelbett ist nicht jedermanns Geschmack. Eine der beiden Bettdecken war hauchdünn (aber es gab zum Glück noch eine Wolldecke). Leider ging die Lüftung im Bad nicht.

Super Aufenthalt wie immer
Pros:

Super Frühstück
Gutes Zimmer mit toller Terrasse
Parkplatz vorhanden und auch kostenlos.
Schnell zu Fuß in der Stadt und auch im Wald

Cons:

Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen

Pros:

Staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating!
Breakfast, especially for a German breakfast, was just okay, but not great. Coffee was cold (at first). After we said something, new, hot coffee was freshly made and provided.
Views from the breakfast room and rooms facing the city were wonderful during the day, and at night.
The hotel is slightly outdated, and at least our room could benefit from some updates, repairs. Slow draining shower, tiles in the bathroom.
The hotel is not located in the busy and loud city center, which we preferred.
If one is somewhat able bodied, the town can easily be reached on foot (ca.1500 Meters), but expect a little climb on your return. It's totally doable, though! However, the #910 bus stop is literally right in front of the hotel, with which one can reach the city easily. It feels like a little adventure riding the bus through, at times, very narrow, mideaval feeling streets. One ticket costs 2.60 Euros. The free, on-side parking is a great bonus, as parking in Europe is often difficult and expensive.
