We had a very big room compared to Bali’s standards. It was clean and the king bed was very comfortable.
The restaurant from which we had dinner and breakfast was good. During a sunny day the view from the restaurant/pool area is really nice.
The property is visibly dated and could help some renovations. During the night due to the rural location and poor sound insulation jungle sounds are very loud, some could find them relaxing or not.
The villa was very very nice. The staff very nice.
The bathroom had a fresh air ventilation with a sort of metal mesh which was broken, so the insects could enter the room. In one day, we had a really big and scary spider ( the biggest I have seen in my life) in our room and other day a geko.

Giriwood exceeded our expectations - the location was isolated enough to have amazing views and the peace and quite of nature but close enough to all the sites and activities. Pool area has great views and is heated to the perfect temperature. The buffet breakfast was amazing, we ate breakfast and dinner on site each day and didn't tire of the options. We enjoyed the onsite walking track that takes you down into the valley. Service and staff were fantastic and friendly. The property is well maintained. It was the perfect stay for our family of four.
