Wir konnten die Reise mangels Fährverbindung nicht antreten. Sowohl Booking als auch Hotel haben in der Folge geschrieben, sich ausnahmsweise für eine kostenlose Stornierung einsetzen zu wollen. In der Folge haben sie sich gegenseitig die Verantwortung zugeschoben, weshalb dies nicht möglich sei (Booking: „das Hotel ist nicht zum Entgegenkommen bereit.“, Hotel: „Die Vertragsbedingungen von Booking verunmöglichen eine kostenlose Stornierung.“). Das Ganze ist sehr intransparent und unbefriedigend.

It was a loveky hotel. Right in rhe centre of bowmore. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were great. The bed was comfy and there was tioletries and tea and coffee faci ities in our room.

As always comfortable.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable. I particularly appreciated that the cleaning staff replenished my tea and coffee stuff and left shortcake biscuits and Tunnocks Caramel Wafers! Sometimes a wee snack is just what you need!

Cons:

Overall, the quality of food had dropped from 2 years before. I would have rated it then as 'excellent'; especially the Cullen Skink and Chowder. Now, good! The beef casserole was excellent as was the pate.
