Staff very nice and accommodating
History
We LOVED the overall vibe and aesthetic of the Hotel and were so glad to be there instead of a big chain hotel. The area was also perfect for us, and we had great interactions with staff and overall loved the room itself too.
One of the beds had a huge problem, like the bedframe was broken on one side making it almost impossible to sleep comfortably. Luckily the two of us had no problem sleeping in the same bed together so we just used the other one, but that broken bed should definitely be addressed. Room 423
The room temperature could not be turned down. It was around 80 ° f and the control knobs wouldn't budge. Had we been able to turn it down (we called the front desk, the person explained how - it wouldn't budge) we would have given the Lenox Hotel a higher rating.
No breakfast. Nostalgic lobby. Convenient location. Free parking. Door to outer hotel locked at 11p.m. Walgreens next door shower pressure was decent.
Entry door to the room very old and could have been bashed in. Chain on the inside door was worthless. Walls very thin. Bed wasn’t comfortable.
Really old cool heritage building which has been kept in great shape. Love the location in Allentown which was super cute + great proximity to transit.
Nice memories
City noise
The Lenox hotel offers a basic, clean, tastefully styled room in a neat old building. While lacking some of the features you might get from a newer hotel building, the old style architecture and yesteryear charm is cool.
Everything clean and extremely clean bathroom, and very clean and comfortable bed with newest pillows
I don’t have any complaints can’t say something bad
Very friendly front desk staff
