Location was great for the beach - a short walk, and the station, an even shorter walk. Staff were friendly and helpful, The room was just as you would expect for a low budget - I found it perfect for my one night stay. Just a generally nice atmosphere all round.
Just a minor thing but left when no staff around and unclear as to where to leave the key.
Lovely staff, nice restaurant and clean room
The parking outside is just on the road, not specifically for the hotel guests. Only just managed to get a space.
Friendly staff, great breakfast.
Quiet during the night.
Parking can be tricky although there's parking across the road in front of the job centre.
Location. Spacious room and incredible staff
Out of date coffee in the room ! Didn't realise until after I drank it and im perfectly fine so all good
Very close to the train station, and shops, short walk to the waterfront. Great place to eat at. Rooms very big and spacious, mostly clean and the bed was the best nights sleep I’ve had in a while.
Honestly, the shower it was quite awkward to get the temperature just right, or it’s either ice cold or really hot.
I enjoyed the room, the bed was comfy. There were a lot of amenities. Staff were very pleasant.
My bathroom was separate from my room. No elevator, and had to use manual keys for the room which were fiddly.
Greet location and value for money
Nothing
Nice room, nice location. Stayed here many times.
This one night visit was twice as expensive as usual.
Restaurant not open, bar not open.... despite their advert on Booking.com saying otherwise.
Zero atmosphere... I never saw any other guests.
Pass
The room smelt of stale sweat, the beds were filthy with stains of god knows what on the mattress and bedding,, the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while with thick dust and cobwebs everywhere, no mattress protection covers so we brought our own from Asda, we looked to go elsewhere in penarth but there was no vacancies in the area, we payed £145 for this place , what a very disappointing doss house.
We did not have breakfast.
We found a lot of dust on the picture frame and the wickerchairs looked like their was Mond on them the shower was very small.
The hotel had no rooms grond floor rooms if you had mobility of walking it is not good. Going up the stairs was not good told that the hotel had no lifts has the hotel was listed buling.
Great location near station and easy to walk down through the park to the pier. Lovely quiet location.
Could have done with an extra small towel for my hair.
