The Mavila Sanur

Absolutely fantastic - most of all because of the staff! Erik, Agus, and Rani at the reception were so super friendly and helpful at all times, they provided service that went way beyond what I have experienced at any other place I have been to! They also proactively asked me if there is anything they could do additionally to make my stay better, and there was nothing I could think of, but they always found something themselves! For example there were days when I could not have breakfast at The Mavila Sanur, because I went on tours which started very early in the morning. So the staff offered me to have dinner instead (free of additional charge), fantastic! Also when I booked a car to pick me up in front of The Mavila Sanur, Erik looked out for it outside so that I could stay at the reception for a few more minutes to feel more comfortable thanks to the air-conditioning there. When the car arrived, Erik made sure I got on the car safely (considering the surrounding traffic). It is those aspects of fantastic service that made my stay so wonderful!

Also Mahen and Dek Gus (staff of the La Prissa restaurant) were outstanding, super friendly aswell, brought delicious breakfast to my villa on time (which I could choose) everyday! I could also order dinner from La Prissa to my room, so no need to go somewhere else. About the villa I especially liked the private pool, so good to cool down after a long day or just in between. The room cleaning staff also did a great job, so quick and at the same time so clean and tidied up, with lovely decorations using the towels. I was also happy to have a fridge which cooled down drinks a lot (something that - in my experience - is not the case at many other places).

Also great: almost no mosquitos during my stay!

To summarize, I highly recommend staying here! Thank you so much again, Erik, Agus, Rani, Mahen, Dek Gus, you are great! :-)

Just got back from this amazing place. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by all of the staff! Agus, Erik and Rani went above and beyond for the duration of the stay, they literally couldn’t do anymore for us and was extremely happy with the service. Thank you! Overall the place was more than we could wish for! Very clean and tidy, brilliant pool, super comfy beds, good location away from the main roads, but close enough and walking distance to shops/places to eat etc. Very easy to get a grab and easy to navigate if you hire a scooter.
One of the best places I’ve stayed in a long time and we’ll be returning in the future! Thank you again

Our Vila was exceptional. So clean, so comfy so spacious bed super comfy, All staff just magnificent so kind, so friendly so helpful . Sanur is a great location . Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and Would stay again. . Reception staff Erik and Rani are a joy and organised everything from pool toys. Transport and in house Balinese therapy. Both a delight .

The room was comfortable, & the staff were good, but they weren't there to pick us up so ran around airport trying to contact them as they were waiting outside airport, we had a snake in our villa, so we were moved to another, only there for 1 week they had 3 weddings & a private party on the villa grounds very very noisy, all our breakfasts were cold when bought to the villa, not a very quiet & relaxing stay at all. Happy to leave here. 😒 & won't be back.

Alle gemakken van een hotel , maar toch heel erg privé met eigen zwembad.
Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Dichtbij winkels en eetgelegenheden, maar binnen het hotel erg rustig.

Staff is very accomodating we arrive late and Agus assisted us on our check in. We missed our complimentary breakfast but they arrange a dinner instead. I loved how flexible they are, The location is good as well as there are nearby restaurants and beach, hope we can stay longer to explore sanur
