Peneeda View Beach Hotel

Nothing to dislike really. It’s not new or fancy but that’s part of the charm

The rooms are old and need a refresh. The first rooms we stayed in had mould on the sealing and some walls. IT appeared that it was painted over, however it was not treated correctly. The beds are hard, and the pillows were well used. The staff moved us to another room that did not have mould.
Next door is a vacant block where the locals have burned rubbish every night. So we could not enjoy any fresh air at night till mid-morning when the air cleared.

The room felt dusty. There was a cigarette smell in our room every night. The beach out the back is not great.. So much rubbish everywhere in the Sanur beach areas. The place feels old. I did see staff renovating some things here and there. All in all too expensive for what you get.

Only had a bath inside bathroom and an out door open shower. Not all rooms have out door showers, so pays to clarify when booking.

The water is solar powered so does take a couple minutes to heat up, but this is a non-issue.

TV in our room (118) needs to be upgraded. No friendly channels for the kids.

Breakfast not a great choice

the restaurant was a lovely aspect but didn't cater well for plant based diet.
no welcoming drink or welcoming anything really.

Facilities seemed a bit dated and could do with more rigorous cleaning, there was mould on shower walls.

I felt the pools were a bit small in comparison to neighbouring hoels but I swam in the sea by preference anyway. I was disappointed they didn’t keep the beach in front of the hotel clear of rubbish as other beachfront hotels did.

Older room section needs work. Restaurant needs to be upgraded to take advantage of its unique setting.

L'hôtel est vétuste et sale. Les chambres sont très sombres sans réelles vue sur le jardin. L'entretien du jardin et des piscines laisse à désirer !
Nous y avions réservé une chambre standard pour deux nuits.
A savoir, les chambres standards ne se trouvent pas dans l'enceinte du "jardin - piscine" mais avant l'accueil, proche du parking ! Moyennant supplément, nous avons alors pris une chambre familiale mieux située. Nuit difficile, les climatisations se trouvant face au lit et non pas au-dessus du lit ou sur le côté !
Ne vous fiez pas aux photos attirantes qui sont sur le site de Booking, celle-ci ne reflète en rien la réalité !
Habitant Bali depuis plus de douze ans, nous aimons séjourner régulièrement 2 ou 3 jours dans un hôtel à Sanur ou ailleurs. Ces hôtels sont généralement très satisfaisants. Nos hôtels réguliers étant complets, nous avons réservé celui-ci mais à regret.
Par ailleurs, le prix est très cher et sans petit déjeuner !
Dès le lendemain matin de notre première nuit, nous avons fui !

Smoke from burning rubbish was really unpleasant one afternoon but this was coming from a neighbouring property

The beds are a little hard but this is expected in Asia. The lady that was on receptioin when we arrived was not very friendly but all the other staff were lovely. There was a water boiler rather than a kettle in the room which gave instant boiling water but kept us awake at night. We had to unplug it to sleep.

Maybe to replace TV with the smart TV to entertain everyone when we are in the room with the kids. Because the room that we got only has TV that contains things the young kids can't watch.

Kamers waren oud.

Niet veel. Alleen geen fohn op de kamer maar op te halen bij receptie. Ontbijt is mogelijk tegen iets hogere prijs (€8,00 pp). Prima locatie.
