Not worth the money.
Pros:

Staff was wonderful, Cheff, Dayalan, waiter Rudra, Dhineshwar, were absolutely wonderful. I’m a T-shirt and jeans kind of guy and so is my family, so we were looked at differently even though I spent the same amount of money as people in suits , reception needs to be retrained in being polite after someone arrives tired from a long trip. Don’t believe in the early checkin and long checkout . They will fight you till you drop or they have to grant it. I had to show my booking confirmation for later check out and was only given 2extra hours .

Cons:

Taj Coromandel’s manager needs to go train with The Leela Palace and Oberoi hotels management to fully understand guest needs, especially when they spend sooo much money to stay there. I had to fight for the dinners when I had booked already paid for it with my reservation. Will definitely never stay at another Taj Hotel in India.

Good Location - Good Facility for a short stay
Cons:

The rooms and the corridors have become very old. Taj is trying to do something to refurbish, but that is not enough to compete with the new hotels.

Dinner and lunch in souther spice. The concierge Priya assisted me in arranging flowers and cake for my wife's 30th along with reservations at the restaurant as well. check in and check out was prompt an so were the fitness facilities
