Ok room for improvement
Pros:

The room was clean and tidy when we arrived and maintained nicely when we stayed. The food was lovely.

Cons:

The pillows were floppy and uncomfortable offering no support. No one was there to greet us, we had to go looking for a member of staff

Convenient location to break up journey and rest overnight when travelling from North England down to Cornwall

Cons:

Dirty rooms, dirty carpet, rooms in desperate need of refurbishment, unfriendly staff at breakfast, long wait for breakfast items to be replenished.

Needs modernization. Basic accommodation. Carvery not very good.
Pros:

Location was convenient. Clean, just rough round the edges.
Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The smell in the hallway. Quite musty.
Bathroom needed a good scrubbing..the shower hose was gross.
Needed to wear shoes on the carpet as felt a bit sticky.
The Toby Carvery was really poor.
