I was initially ignored when requested an early check in via email then when I finally got through it was clear the employee was really displeased with our polite request
The walls are not soundproof whatsoever, thankfully we had quiet neighbours but at 9am the cleaning staff stood in the linen closet opposite our room borderline shouting for an hour
Shower pressure wasn’t great and bathroom felt unclean

Close proximity to my place of work . Car parking was free and a really good Breakfast . Staff friendly and helpful .
Rooms were comfortable . Only issue the weather warmed up and I did notice a slightly increasing smell of drains filling my room .

Comfy bed
The place overall is a bit "grotty" and appears to be a former Motel. Not the best first impression with a derelict area in the car park fenced off by the inevitable block and mesh fence. Most of the rooms are on ground level so the outside tables for the Toby Carvery are right outside your window - not very private. There is constant road noise from the ring road. The corridors are very narrow and smell a bit "80s". Inside the room, there were broken bits from fittings eg: bits missing from the shower fixing. The shower itself was dirty and mouldy. The radiator regulator was broken so no heat. Definitely a workers hotel as lots of vans in the car park, and on checking in, the guest in front of me swore his way through his check in and was rude to the poor staff. During the night there was boisterous f-ing and geffing going on in the corridors. Not a happy tourist place. If Booking.com give you an unmissable genius deal for 1 night only then maybe, but otherwise I'd give it a miss.

I had spoken to ?laura on the phone about my disabled husband’s needs and an additional need for the bedroom. She was soo helpful and we were offered an ideal room which met his needs very well. This was so much appreciated.

Booked hotel an hour before we were due to stay when I realised I had booked the wrong date!! Room was ready for us which we appreciated! Big room, nicely decorated & modern bathroom! Would definitely stay again
