Un hotel maravilloso
Pros:

Es el hotel más bonito en el que hemos estado nunca. Detalles cuidados al milímetro, personal muy amable. Incluso entraba una merienda al día.

Pros:

Meraviglioso boutique hotel ispirato alla biblioteca joanina....mai visto stanze così belle ispirate ai libri della biblioteca! Dai bagni al lavandino in marmo a forma di libro, stupendi! E poi arredi molto moderni con televisore integrato nello specchio! Colazione ottima all'ultimo piano con vista sulla città, posizione ottima, veramente centrale, consigliatissimo!

Quale è stata creata la libreria nelle camere e’ qualcosa di sensazionale . Mai vista una cosa del genere. Un’opera d’arte. Pulizia veramente accurata, letto comodissimo ed infine un buffet sempre disponibile gratuitamente nella zona roof davvero un valore aggiunto.

A good and interesting hotel, provided you travel alone / do not crave privacy while using the loo.
Pros:

The lounge, including the breakfast, was very good. The staff quality was high, and while the hotel is quite lightly staffed the service quality was entirely satisfactory. I thought the way that a mock-library is used as a key design element in the rooms and common parts was nice, and an elegant reference to the Biblioteca Joanina, which is Coimbra's architectural jewel.

Cons:

It is nice having a shower or using the lavatory surrounded by a mock library. Guests of a more retiring disposition, sharing a double room, might prefer it if the shower and loo had opaque doors, rather than being surrounded by see-through glass. The idea of putting a TV INTO the bedroom mirror as a kind of head-up display is certainly interesting and quirky and it is is a quite impressive engineering feat, but the TV does not work well at all times. At the end of two days we had finally worked out how our room lights worked. We are at least of average intelligence. Maybe we should have stayed for a week, and have put our eventual understanding of the lighting system to good effect.

Una habitación impactante
Pros:

La decoración y el diseño de las habitaciones… mil libros de mármol configuran las paredes del baño y el distribuidor. Muy original y singular.
El desayuno muy bueno.

Cons:

No dispone de una recepción como tal… le falta un poco de espacio de lobby y que en el espacio de comedor/terraza se pueda tomar alguna copa.
