Wunderbar für ein romantisches Wochenende, wenn man sich etwas schönes gönnen möchte. Der Rhein ist nebenan.
Pros:

Für einen Kurzbesuch in Köln perfekt. Sehr nah am Rheinufer gelegen.
Pros:

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, auch Frühstück war total ausreichend.

Cons:

Die Betten waren für unsere Verhältnisse zu weich.

Bon emplacement pour visiter Cologne ou se rendre à Phantasialand.
Pros:

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement indépendant qui était en face de l'accueil. La surface était étonnamment grande, les chambres étaient spacieuses et nous avions également un salon-cuisine qui fut bien apprécié.
La salle de bains vintage est vraiment jolie.
Un parking (payant) est disponible à très courte distance de l'établissement.
La salle de petit-déjeuner est très agréable. Le propriétaire a allumé un feu dans le poêle expressément pour nous, quand nous sommes venus prendre notre petit-déjeuner. Les cafés (expresso, capuccino, café latte, etc...) et les oeufs sont préparés à la commande.

Cons:

Peut-être le salon manque-t-il de sièges : il y a 2 beaux fauteuils que nous avons utilisés mais l'appartement est prévu pour 5 personnes, un petit canapé serait appréciable pour que tout le monde puisse s'asseoir.
Le petit-déjeuner est un peu cher.

Es war sehr liebevoll ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Nicht ausreichend Ablagefläche im Badezimmer und ein weiterer Abfalleimer wären überlegenswert.

We slept well there and enjoyed the old-time charm.
Pros:

For us, it was convenient to visit long time friends. Yet, we also found the neighborhood to be fun and inviting. There are several local fun places to visit- an ice cream shop, an Italian pizza parlor, a bakery, and a restaurant. At least three ways to enter the Rhine River walking path, a cool local church, and even a pharmacy if needed. Walking about 20 min up river you find another wonderful restaurant in a boat tied to a dock.
Great coffee and breakfast.

Cons:

Maybe the stairs are steeper than in the USA but they are well designed and beautiful.
