Highly recommended stay
Pros:

We stayed at Zest Metropole for a total of two weeks with my husband, and we had a very pleasant experience.
The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent, with a great variety and very good quality. The staff, especially the waiters, were always kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The location is outstanding, very convenient for exploring Colombo, and there is a very nice café right in front of the hotel.
The room was extremely comfortable in every sense: clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a longer stay.

Comfortable and Convenient
Pros:

Great location within walking distance of the Fort Train Station. Room and Bathroom spacious and clean. Breakfast (local and continental).

Cons:

Not related to the hotel itself. Neighborhood can be quite loud.

Pros:

O quarto era super espaçoso e agradável, o staff super simpáticos, muito limpo.
Recomendamos

Cons:

A janela do quarto dava para outro edifício. Mas era um pormenor que só nos faria diferença se ficassemos mais noites.

Comfortable stay in the city centre.
Pros:

Good location, clean, easy check-in/check-out, and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and quiet (we were on the 6th floor). Overall, a nice experience and I would recommend it for a couple of days in Colombo.

Cons:

The gym is tiny and not very well equipped - this will not matter to most, but mentioning it just in case.

Pros:

We got a free upgrade which was nice. Only stayed one night before catching a flight, but this place is located right by the Dutch Hospital and is walking distance from the Fort station (though not with luggage in the blazing sun!).
