Beautiful hotel and amazing facilities
Pros:

Beautiful setting and fabulous facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room met all of our expectations

Great premises let down by rude barmaid and very noisy at night :((

Sports bar nearby with a tv to watch sports as the hotel didn’t
Spacious comfortable rooms, nice views
Price was reasonable

Cons:

The triple room ( number 35) is next to a utility room or something as there was an on and off banging all through the night , so I completely lost a nights sleep … room 37 must have suffered the same fate

Food in the attached pub was good , waitress nice , wine nice. Although the lady behind the bar actually sneered at us (!) when we turned up a few minutes late for our 8.30 reservation! We just had to laugh it off as it was so bad ! Reception staff were much nicer and treated us like humans thankfully.

The pool was lovely and the spa and saunas.

I would return again as I’m often in the area but the lack of sleep and the rude barmaid really put me off unfortunately otherwise it’s a nice place

Nice big room, nice restaurant and nice breakfast

Cons:

Was not in main house and stuck in a room in a courtyard on first floor and no lift. Dirty plate left outside next room for two nights. Swimming pool was boiling

Quiet and comfortable.
Pros:

Quiet location, nice breakfast choices and quality. Easy access to the spa, onsite pub with dining. Comfortable beds.
