Total relaxation and friendly staff
Pros:

The spa is always a bonus for us and having the fat abbot pub on site

The staff were very friendly but I was disappointed with the value for money.
Pros:

The staff were all lovely, very friendly. The location of the hotel and parking was good.

Cons:

The rooms were dated. The room was cold. There was no drinking water given in the rooms. The Spa was a walk from the main hotel and they were charging for the use of a towel!

Stay regular and always enjoy our stay, great bus service directly outside which takes you to York outlets and York city

Great facilities, good location, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast also can recommend the Thai restaurant next door.

Pros:

Rooms are large, comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. Very peaceful location but excellent transport links into York.

Cons:

The cold buffet on offer at breakfast was very good and of a high standard, however I much prefer freshly-cooked hot breakfasts to those kept warm under the lights.
