Breakfast was really nice
Really nothing
great room, good breakfast only there over night did not use the facilities
The Spa and pool were great- the pool and Jacuzzi were both very warm which was lovely.
Would definitely go back to The Parsonage to use the Spa facilities again and would like to try a treatment there.
The Fat Abbott pub was really nice and we had a very good meal there.
It was booked up on our 2nd night so we went to the Thai restaurant next door which was also really good food.
We were lucky to get in as they were busy.
The breakfast was also very nice and the breakfast room is lovely.
All the staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful and overall it was a really nice weekend away.
Our only problem was the bed- it was very hard and quite small- possibly a small double.
We asked for an extra quilt on the bed which the staff kindly put on the bed for us.
This made our 2nd night more comfortable.
The room was beautifully laid out and they went to great trouble to make it a memorable stay for us.
The front of house and hotel staff could have been a bit more efficient. We noticed that glasses and afternoon tea set ups that had been had was sitting around well into the evening. This was while the staff was on several occasions just standing behind the desk chatting as we walked past or asked if we could grab a drink in the bar.
Very clean and comfortable, very close to the bus stop which takes you into York. The breakfast was good. It was nice to have use of the spa facilities and swimming pool during our stay
Nothing
Spa facilities were all good, staff were polite and friendly.
Decor was dated in the rooms and could do with freshening up. 2nd night could hear what sounded like running water all night
Friendly and helpful staff, and the swimming pool.
The double room had only one comfy chair.
Beautiful
The property is beautiful the spa is super
