What a spectacular experience to stay here. A serene and peaceful place, with lot of trees and greenery around. Rooms are spacious and provided with all essentials. The staff was extremely helpful, specially Elaine at reception. I would definitely visit again for a longer stay.

AC would have helped a lot. However the view from our room was lovely and we were able to open Windows.
Good amount of space in room, loved the spa opening hours!
Staff all friendly and fully met our expectations. Had a wonderful stay!
Nothing to do in local area/village. Do have to drive or use public transport due to location.
Would have liked a mirror on wall above dressing table.
However it was lovely and peaceful!
Spa facilities
No fridge in the room
Location was good and also the spa facilities were great to use. Room was spacious and bathroom was nice.
The lady that checked us in was very rude like we were inconvincing her she then asked if we want our room serviced and looked annoyed when we said yes. Customer service to be honest wasn't great here a couple staff we ok but noone said morning or have a nice day nothing. When we saw the rude lady at the pub next door we just wanted to leave didn't feel welcomed.
Kettle was disgusting we couldn't use it. Needs to he replaced.
Deceiving where the rooms are all photos are of the main manor house so you think thats where you will be staying but no we were put in the cottage which was disappointing it was nice but maybe be more clear.
Comfortable family room & lovely breakfast
So disappointed that the swimming pool was out of order, which was the whole point of booking with this hotel. Also the gym was flooded so also out of order. We booked on the assumption that we were able to use all the facilities but were unable to do so.
Pool was closed and didnt get to stay at the hotel was given a room above the pub wasnt mentioned when we book. Sent email and had no reply rude.
Was given room above a pub.
No pool
Beautiful hotel in a quiet location with well kept gardens. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty with attentive service
Bed was a little hard, no plugs near the bedside
Lovely hotel, we booked a standard room and were well impressed with quality and size.
Spa was lovely, very relaxing with lots of different options.
Breakfast was superb, all beautifully presented.
All staff are welcoming and helpful
Fat Abbot pub, we came on a Sunday and they were only serving Sunday lunch, which was quite expensive, would have liked the option of smaller plates, or tapas style platters.
On check in the two members of staff were very nice, helpful and had a good knowledge of the area. I would say 10 out of 10.
On check out. The lady on reception left my partner and I standing for over 5 minutes while she was speaking on the phone. She turned her head away. No apology and she totally ignore us. Will not be back.
Lovely buildings in wonderful gardens.
Staff really helpful and friendly
The room we had was very hot due to the weather and the bed was a small double
