Was a really nice stay and I would choose this hotel again.
Pros:

Rooms were spacious, bathroom nice and clean. I got a complimentary dessert and a bottle of wine for my birthday. We were there for the Ironman race and on the race day they made the breakfast earlier for the participants, which was super nice. They were leaving out little sweets almost everyday in our rooms as well.

Cons:

The lifts was really tiny and slow and the widow door in our room didn’t shut properly, so we could hear the street a bit more.

Pros:

Great base fir exploring Cascais as well as the Estoril area. Good public transport. Walking the promenade along the seafront is delightful

Needs a second mirror in the bedroom. Only a small one in the bathroom.

Viel tegen, maar de mensen waren lief

Ligging, vriendelijk personeel receptie. Goede schoonmakers.

De donker getinte kokkin bij het ontbijt kon geweldige eitjes bakken met een brede glimlach, zij maakte ons ontbijt helemaal goed.

Ook kregen we hele schattige kleine cakejes van het hotel. Dat de mensen zo aardig waren maakte het goed dat het eigenlijk voor een 4-sterrenhotel verouderd was en niet bepaald goed qua prijs-kwaliteit.

Cons:

Keiharde krakende bedden. Je slaapt op een houten frame met houten plank, geen echte lattenbodem, daarboven een hard matras. Met rugpijn weggegaan. Ook een beetje raar om onder een gigantische fotoprint van een jaren 60 muzikant te slapen iedere nacht.

Eetzaal rumoerig met veel groepen en vreemde muziekkeuze.

Zwembad is te koud om te zwemmen bij 25 graden buitentemp. Je kan wel makkelijk naar het strand lopen.

Douchen ging met een heel slap straaltje, kreeg amper de shampoo uit mn haar gewassen.

Incredible sea view from balcony, really nice.

Cons:

No coffee make in room. Couldn't believe it.l have never stayed in a hotel room that did not have a coffee maker. I wanted to get up in the morning, make coffee and sit on the balcony to admire the view. NO coffee.

Room was next to staff closet/store room. Staff went in and out of the room all day, slamming the door each time. Quite annoying.
