Excellent stay, lovely place with lovely staff
Pros:

Lovely old English pub with accommodations set on the edge of farmland. Nice and peaceful.
A great friendly welcome from the reception, with everything explained. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room and a great shower. Had the option of evening meal but we had a function to attend a few miles away. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and everything we needed. It cost extra for a full English but was worth having and reasonably priced. We would happily stay there again and recommend the Bull to anyone travelling that way

- Ruhig gelegenes Gästehaus direkt neben dem Pub
- Saubere, zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer
- Genügend kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten
- Das Pub ist landestypisch mit sehr guter "Pubspeisekarte"
- Sehr gutes Abendessen
- Frühstück haben wir ausfallen lassen da wir sehr früh los mussten

Lovely traditional country pub location offering compact well equipped clean rooms
Pros:

Lovely village location, staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and had all the facilities required. Evening food and continental or English breakfast available in the pub.

Cons:

Wi-Fi was intermittent however 5G was available.

Beautiful setting and welcoming staff.
Pros:

Nicky, Tony and Tink could not do enough for us, made us feel so welcome as if we were regulars. The Food was beautiful and plentiful.

Cons:

Maybe a radio or background music at breakfast.

Great base for festival in Chelmsford. Friendly staff, lovely outdoor space and comfy rooms.

Disappointing
Pros:

We had the included continental breakfast and it was adequate. Nothing special but what you’d expect. We were attending a friends party so we picked it for its location near her house

Cons:

Very disappointed with the room. I booked it in March so not last minute but the room we were given was awful. It seemed like one you would use as an overspill. The only window was very narrow and above the bed. So the room was dark and dingy. I am claustrophobic so I hated it. I felt like I was in a dungeon. The bed was terrible. Two single beds pushed together. There was a ridge in the middle so extremely uncomfortable. Not much you can do about the window except only use this room in a pinch and offer a discount. The bed needs to be replaced with a brand new king so e bed or even a double!

Strangest place I’ve ever stayed in.
Pros:

That it was in a lovely village

Cons:

Room smells, Bath Towels were yellow and stained. Bed was small double. Walls so thin I could hear the guests in the next room snore and fart.
