Good room, great dinner

Venho por este meio apresentar uma apreciação resumida da minha estadia no vosso hotel.
Durante a utilização do bar da piscina, foi-me servida uma tosta de frango na qual se encontrava um cabelo, situação que, na altura, optei por não reportar. Contudo, ao jantar, verifiquei a presença de uma barata no prato, o que motivou a devida reclamação. Na sequência, foram-nos facultadas duas cervejas e uma água pequena correspondentes ao que havíamos solicitado, sendo as mesmas oferecidas como forma de compensação.
Adicionalmente, importa referir que, durante a noite, experienciei um episódio de indisposição gastrointestinal, que se prolongou ao longo de várias horas, causando significativo desconforto.
No período da manhã, foram ainda notórias algumas falhas no serviço. Para além de uma organização menos cuidada no pequeno-almoço e da reposição insuficiente de produtos, destaco também o ruído nos corredores provocado pelas funcionárias de limpeza, que conversavam em tom elevado desde cedo, ao ponto de perturbar o descanso.
No momento do check-out, dirigimo-nos à receção para apresentar a nossa insatisfação, tendo apenas sido pedido desculpa, sem qualquer outra resolução.
De forma geral, apesar de reconhecer aspetos positivos como a qualidade das instalações, nomeadamente as piscinas e o conforto do quarto, considero que o serviço prestado e algumas condições observadas não correspondem ao padrão esperado de um hotel de cinco estrelas.

Apenas referir que a parte exterior do hotel e das piscinas estão a precisar de algumas obras, principalmente pinturas.

To be honest, this is definitely not a 5-star hotel! More like a 3+ at best. The interior is outdated, the food was also not good, and the selection is very limited—especially for dinner. They don’t refill the trays, so if you come later, you might end up with nothing to eat. Even water has to be purchased.
The system feels like something from 10 years ago—waiters come up and ask for your room number. But what guarantees that other guests won’t just give a random room number? How would you prove later that it wasn’t you who ordered something? :))))))
After reading other guests’ reviews, many complain about the food. I don’t understand why the hotel doesn’t draw any conclusions.

La nourriture n'était pas à la hauteur, il y avait beaucoup de groupe qui était bruyant même le soir.

Ines on reception made us feel very welcome, recognised we were rather frazzled on arrival and provided us with all the necessary information in immaculate English and with a broad smile. When my husband realised he had left his washbag at the previous hotel (high winds had shut the airport so we could not leave leading to stays in other hotels) she rang up and sorted it all out.
The buffet food was a little dry, but it was hot. It is difficult for buffet food to be both hot and not dry at the same time throughout service.
