Super emplacement.
Cons:

1ère nuit très bruyante. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu pas de chauffage ( séjour du 7 au 13 mars)

Pros:

Emplacement exceptionnel près de la cathédrale.
La dernière personne que nous avons eût à la fin de notre séjour était très souriante et s'est enquit de nos problèmes de vol d'avion

Cons:

Nous aurions apprécié que l'on indique où trouver un parking.
Dans la rue c'est impossible lors du weekend de Pâques.
Nous avons trouvé nous même et utilisé un parking de ville près du plaza à 4,50 euros pour une journée.

Excellent location and price
Pros:

Excellent place of the hotel, right at the centre of Funchal. Room was clean, bathroom spacious and clean. Or room face inside street, so the noise was minimal.

Cons:

Bedding was interesting. Regular pillows, but only thin blanket on bed itself. we found a thicker one in the closet, but it was more like a comforter. Definatelly not washed after every quest. In summer time - probably not a problem as it would be not necessary. But still - would prefer regular hotel bedding :)

Great location
Pros:

Excellent location, close to restaurants, the sea front and the marina. Our room had a very nice view over the church and the sea. The staff is very friendly and always willing to assist.

Cons:

The hotel needs refurbishment as it is slightly dated but the location compensate for it.

Schönes Flair eines alten Hotels, sehr kompetentes mitdenkendes Personal, super zentrale Lage, sehr solides Frühstück

Cons:

nachts hörte man Geräusche einer lebendigen Stadt, z.B. Musik (uns hat es nicht gestört, weil es angenehme Geräusche waren).
