Hardanger House is ideally located for an exploration of the Hardangerfjord area. The room was very comfortable, and the view of the fjord from the room was lovely. Although it was low season, the hotel staff went above and beyond to provide us with a pescatarian breakfast, and dinner recommendations. We would definitely stay again.

Très bel hôtel, tout est très propre et neuf. Et la vue est formidable.
Malheureusement le restaurant était fermé et il n’y en a pas d’autres aux alentours.

Var svært skuffet over at dere ikke hadde middag. Vi syklet til hotellet og på fergen rett før innsjekk fikk vi vite at det ikke ble servert middag den dagen. Dette burde vi fått vite når vi booket slik at vi kunne planlagt litt annerledes. Det var ikke lett å få annet spisested i Jondalen om kvelden.

Off the beaten path but definitely worth it.
This is the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. The room had a terrace that was no more than 20 feet from a little beach where we went swimming. The staff will turn on the sauna at your request. Takes a few minutes to heat. The staff were exceptionally accommodating. They gave us bikes which they prepared before we set off. We did the evening meal which was exceptional with smashing views of the sunset from the restaurant. We rushed the breakfast as we had to go for an activity at folgefonni which was a shame as it was delightful. Perfect stay all in all.
Not one single thing
Very clean and comfortable rooms. Loved the balcony with the fjord view! Dinner was great, and breakfast was absolutely brilliant. While there wasn't a huge selection, everything that was there was high quality.

Sauna seems underpowered - did not get very hot.
There is nowhere to enter the fjord water to swim after sauna - just rather slippery rocks. Worth considering establishing somewhere to dive in from and a ladder or similar to get out
Stay elsewhere. Property poorly run and falls well below expectations.
No welcome or introduction to the property on arrival. We were just given our room key. No tour of property/ facilities.
Rooms basic with no water, No tea, No spoons, no sugar, No milk.
Small sauna - struggled to get up to temperature. not nice, no views, not close to water.
Sauna not working properly and not hot.
No towels in sauna area.
No water in room, or sauna/gym.
No explanation of fees at dinner, wine was poured without explanation of what it was or what it cost, no wine list provided.
Lamps in room were poor quality and need to be picked up to turn on or off.
Tv in room had poor reception.
Wifi poor from rooms, very slow and patchy internet connection.
Disposable cheap plastic cups in bathroom.
