For a quick 1 day stay, it was fine.
Pros:

No breakfast was a bummer. Walking distance to basic needs was great. I really liked the walk in shower.

Cons:

No breakfast. Price was high for quality of room.

Pros:

Location good. Room was clean, quiet.
Staff friendly. Microwave/fridge handy for fixing breakfast each day.
Hot water came quickly.

It was a convenient one night stay when I didn't need any amenities.
Pros:

Very convenient location. This is the least expensive hotel in town. Quick reservations online.

Cons:

The room coffee maker (with coffee in filter packets) makes terrible coffee. The bathroom needs remodel with trim separating from the wall and water leaking on the tile around the toilet. Clearly an aging facility with deferred maintenance.

Musste die fahrt zum Flughafen selber bezahlen, Obwohl im Internet steht Flughafentransfer inklusive.

Pros:

Great location right in town.
Very clean with daily housekeeping.
Staff very nice.

Cons:

Property needs an updating.
Wifi is finicky, usually slow, and sometimes unusable. I had to run to a coffee shop one time when I needed internet. Still, I would stay here again.

Friendly staff, good value, close to downtown Kodiak!! 🦀.
Pros:

Easy walk from downtown. Friendly staff. Clean room.

Cons:

The beds sagged a lot, and it was hard to get a good nights sleep.

Price is right for the stay and location!
Pros:

The location is good and the staff were friendly! For the price, location and cleanliness of our room, it fit our needs perfectly! I would stay again.

Cons:

They offer a hotel shuttle to/from the airport. Shuttle was not running and sounded like it hadn’t run in a while. It is best to have some taxi/cab numbers to get around as Uber/lyft aren’t on Kodiak. I wouldn’t say this is something I didn’t like about the property but more of a heads up if you’re staying there and expecting this service.

It was a great place to stay for the festival!
Pros:

Restaurant was not open. Location was perfect for the crab festival and hiking on Near Island.

Excellent stay. Will return.
Pros:

The hotel was close to downtown where we needed to stay. Staff was friendly. Room was decent.

Cons:

The rooms were definitely dated and smelled a little musty when we went in.

my go to place in Kodiak
Pros:

I always like the Shelikoff. Last year I was crowded into a basement room that was a bit dank but this year was on the second floor and all good. Staff is always friendly in an Alaskan way. No pretense, competent and helpful.

Cons:

wish they would open up their restaurant again
