Anjeliq House Boutique Hotel

In our booking was written as one bottle of champagne Is included but they said it is wrong there is no. Corridors and staircase is very dark, not enough lighting. Not clean, old furniture. Rooms are very old, need repair, replacement and restoration. Jacuzzi was very dirty, we tried to clean by ourselves. Most of the light bulbs not working. Curtains are falling down all the time. Toilet button for flush was damaged etc. In the restaurant is not possible to eat and sit that you are feeling safe. All the time coming to your desk flower selling women and beggars. Chairs and floors are very dirty again old damaged furniture. Insects on the floor running. The place has hygiene issue so may be dangerous for health. This place was our most popular place before each year but if there wont be any change, we will not go there anymore.

The rooms are small compared to other hotels. The hot tub on the balcony did not run warm (the hotel did offer to have an engineer look at it). Early check in (7am) was approved prior to arrival but room was not ready for another 2 hours and I had been traveling through the night, and really needed to sleep.

My vacation was very short

Have booked a suite with jacuzzi at Anjeliq hotel for November 20-22 with prepayment via Booking.com. However, had to leave after the first night, because: 1) There was extremely bad smell of dampness in the room. For comparison we have checked another room on the ground - the smell was the same. The reception admitted the smell is in all the hotel, because it is old. We have opened the balcony, but it didn’t help much - the bad smell was still there. 2) There were no blankets. When we asked for two blankets the housekeeping said there is only one available, as all others have been sent for washing. It was rather chilly at night and we have got cold. In the morning, I went to the reception and spoke to Ms. Senay asking that we would like to leave the hotel and get a refund for the second night. She said the monies are not with the hotel, but with Booking.com and therefore we should request the refund from there. I immediately wrote to Customer Service of Booking.com. An automatic reply came that they will get back within 24 hours. I wasn’t sure whether to trust the hotel or not, but finally decided to trust. So we checked out and handed the keys to Ms. Senay. In the afternoon of the same day Booking.com’s Customer Service replied they are in contact with the hotel to find a solution for my request. That raised an alert with me that the hotel could be involved in the process of refunding, although Ms. Senay told me it is purely with Booking.com. Since I was not far away, I drove back to Anjeliq hotel. Ms. Senay wasn’t there so I spoke to another receptionist who was rather rude and said she doesn’t know anything I should come tomorrow, as Ms. Senay works only in the first half of the day. I asked to speak to hotel accountants or managers, but she said they are unreachable in the afternoon too. That already smelled like cheating. So I insisted that she calls Ms. Senay in front of me and asks what is going on.

We booked this hotel just for the jacuzzi on the balcony with sea view. It took an hour to fill jacuzzi (barely any hot water) and when we put on the jet streams it squirted out lots of dirt. I emptied it and filled it again and turned on the jet streams again and the same thing happened. I complained to the reception and told them they need to clean inside the pipes and they came and cleaned just the jacuzzi floor and said it was broke and I could not use the jet streams - just fill it with water like a bath tub and they will look the next day. By 13.00 the next day no one came, we left the hotel and asked them to fix it again. When we came back it was still not fixed, they just say we are filling it again and then it should work. It of course didn’t work since they have to clean the pipes and I complained again and said they should send someone right away. But this time not so much dirt came out so maybe it would be clean enough the next time. I also asked them to look at the ceiling lamp that didn’t work, the lamp on the minibar that didn’t work and the tv that didn’t work and told them I need to leave in 30 minutes. No one came. I got angry and left. When I came back after dinner they had cleaned the jacuzzi, but the two lamps and the tv still didn’t work. The jacuzzi still squirted out some dirt in the third day but we gave up and used it anyway. More problems with the room is that there was no pressure in the shower so it was very hard to rinse your hair. After 20.00 there was no hot water. The tiles of the floor did not fit so the tiles was also moving when you walked in them so I almost slipped one time. My partner works very late so we didn’t leave the hotel until 13.00 during the days and then removed the do not disturb sign. I understand that they might not have the time to clean the room then (although at Gurses they clean of you leave before 14.

Same breakfast every day ☹️ We don't know why we had to pay for the cafeteria. One day we paid and the other day the coffee was included in the breakfast. The worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel.

In the room we were in there was a large speaker next to the window where every day around 23:00 the staff played music at full volume. In addition there was a constant smell of mould and cockroaches. We had to change rooms but this required an extra charge. It looks as if the hotel deliberately places people so that customers have to pay extra.

I loved it!!!

It was disappointing that we stayed a week but our room was cleaned only once. After staying 3 days we had to ask for clean towels. Also it was a little bit too noisy at nights due to loud music.

The size of the room and bathroom. The toilet was leaking water, so bathroom floor was always wet. We informed reception and they said someone would come to fix it next day, but that didnt happen.

Dirty room: hair, dust, dirty jacuzzi and mirror/walls, very loud music from hotel restaurant til 01-02AM, coffee machine in room didn’t work properly
