A Heavenly Sanctuary in Svaneti — Far More Than Just a Hotel
Having traveled to more than 40 countries around the world, I can count on one hand the places that have truly moved me — and this incredible hotel is right at the top of that list. This level of warmth and magic is something you might encounter only two or three times in a lifetime of traveling.
This is not simply a place to stay; it is a loving family opening their heart and soul to welcome you. It goes far beyond standard hospitality — it is a pure expression of love, genuine warmth, and absolute care for every single guest.
The property itself is brand new, with exquisite renovation and flawless attention to detail. It is perfectly situated in the center, offering breathtaking, panoramic views that will leave you completely speechles.
And the breakfast… oh, the breakfast! It feels like something prepared for you at home by a loving parent. Every dish is deeply thoughtful, designed to cater to international guests while using only the highest quality, freshest local ingredients. Enjoying this feast in such a warm, cozy atmosphere felt like having breakfast in paradise.
The entire staff is beyond remarkable — kind, attentive, and deeply passionate about what they do. If I ever return to Svaneti, it will be solely to revisit this home-away-from-home and re-experience the authentic, soulful spirit of true Georgian hospitality.

There was no air conditioning in our room. the coffee at breakfast was not tasty and even after choosing the paid coffee it still did not meet the hotel standard.

Chambre très confortable avec tout le nécessaire (balcon, bonne wifi, frigo, cafetière et bouilloire, bonne literie, peignoir).

Possibilité de se garer devant l’hôtel, à 10min à pied du centre de Mestia avec tous les commerces et restaurants. Possibilité également de laver son linge pour 50 GEL.

Keurig, goed onderhouden en schoon hotel met ruime kamers en fijn bed. Ontbijt was fantastisch! In kamers is een airco, mar die is wel nodig. Badkamer rook wat muf.
De (loop)afstand tot het centrum was verder dan gedacht: het hotel ligt vooraan in Mestia, waar niks te doen is.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Gold Tower in Mestia und können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen.
Die Lage ist super: Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb und dadurch angenehm ruhig, trotzdem ist das Zentrum von Mestia und alles Wichtige bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberin. Sie ist unglaublich aufmerksam, herzlich und freundlich und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben.
Das Frühstück war für uns das absolute Highlight – das beste Frühstück, das wir während unseres gesamten Roadtrips durch Georgien bekommen haben! Es war vielfältig, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.
Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und ausreichend groß, vor allem aber sehr sauber. WLAN war vorhanden und auch ein Parkplatz stand uns kostenlos zur Verfügung.
